LiitoKala 26650-50A 5000mah 26650 - great first impressions

Doesnt need to be silver based solder its not stainless, 60/40 is mustard. Just use some extra flux or scrape the top a bit if its oxidised or dirty

AliExpress is showing this product no longer available.

Tested the jaxman connector in my Opus and Liitokala charger and did not see resistance go up

(from AliExpress Android)
Nice thingy
But after testing the inside of my S70 and L6 tube I know the anodization is good and it is not conducting
So I choose magnet for connecting and when charging I put the magnet on the top cell before putting it in the charger so it becomes the bottom one and every charge their position changes (idk if it makes a difference it just feels good to do it like this)

I looked at the link you put,but it is a mess there. The prices differ 50% between them.Which are good and which not.

I decided to use non-protected batteries that can be used in series; there are quite a few to choose from that have a positive terminal suitable for vertical series connection.

I use the Liitokala batteries in my single cell 26650 flashlights.

Or you can get them where I get mine………… RIGHT HERE . Never a problem so far with 3 separate orders.

That Jaxman connector works great by the way……. :+1:

I look at the alphanumeric writings on these batteries, and I see that there are not the same in different sites.Do you know if some of them are better than others?

I had no problem ordering the batteries either, what I tried to write is that the Jaxman ‘connector’ is no longer available from AliExprees.

My bad, I read it wrong. :person_facepalming:
Hopefully they will come up again, they do work real good.

Probably all the same.
I got all of mine at GearBest for right around $20 US for four of them and they all check out above advertised specs. :+1:

The LiitoKala 26650-50As can also be gotten at Banggood for a similar steal than at GearBest if you are wise to check out M4D M4X's deals.

Cheers ^:)

P.S.: in fact it becomes a slightly better deal, especially with 3+ units volume discounts.

Thank you teacher.

Hmm when I follow the link in my previous post I can add a jaxman connector to my cart so it seems available to me.
 maybe jaxman just likes me

How are these Liitokala batteries with the Convoy L6?

Is it better to go with these or the short Keeppower 26650 5200mah?

They dont work with L6 - they are too short for L6( even with an added magnet) plus the tail L6 spring is kinda short one ….with S70 are fine though
Yet, its easy fixable

5200s are definately better, the flashlight is more productive with 5200 or 5500 Soshine

A little bit of solder on the top of the Liitokala should fix that shouldn’t it?

Indeed

Its a good idea to swap the L6 tail spring too, its kinda short and flagile looking, i already mailed Simon about that issue

My Liitokala with a solder blob on one of them have a good fit.
Keeppower 5200 protected (the new short ones) are also good.

The tailspring of my L6 has a lenght of almost 14 mm and is quite solid.

They work just fine in my L6.
Matter of fact, I have experienced zero problems using the LiitoKala 26650’s in any of my L6’s.
In fact I have one pair that works in series without any “fix”.

I use THIS with the others. Although a solder blob, magnet, or some other “fix” will also work just fine also. For my purpose though, the Jaxman Series Connector is about as simple as it gets and works just fine.
