Great Tom is doing the review, awesome!
I know double clicking for turbo is quick but for those of us that like to keep highest mode at turn on can find this annoying. A single click is still easier than double clicking. I use most of my lights including this new haikelite on turbo only, and if I did need to use a lower mode, I’d just change modes.
So with the ui now, after double clicking to get to turbo, if I double click again, nothing will change right? So it’s the same as having turbo memorized, if on turbo, double clicking will just confirm that the user is on turbo.
a 4 battery tube is wide and short, so the handling and balance will be important to judge. It’s one of my main concerns from the photos.
Same thought here. Haikelite mentioned it’s actually comfortable to hold. Wouldn’t a handle be awesome both in terms of ergonomics as well as esthetics?

OP updated:
Final UI changed a little , Added hidden Strobe and SOS modes ; Press and held 1 seconds in any status to active.
Switch 1:
Single Click-on ; Single Click-off ;Fast double-click Turbo (Double click switch 1 in any status to acess; easy to access)
Long-press to Strobe; Long-press again to SOSSwitch 2:
Low Low-Low-Mid -High (single click to change modes ; with last mode memory)
Hidden Moonlight 1 lumens (fast double click switch 2 to acess; easy to access)
Special modes always go back to previous memory mode by single click ; (Special modes can circle among special modes by double-click or long-press)
Memory mode: Low Low-Low-Mid -High + OFF(We call Turbo/Moonlight/Strobe/SOS as special modes)
by Switch 2, Click+hold+flash signal to lockout the light; Repeat to unlock. Tailcap-lockout also available
Temperature stepdown added to HaikeLite thrower on Turbo mode; Turbo mode can last long time (around 15 minutes)before overheat and it gets cool again fast in 2-3 minutes
Gold-plating components changed to Silver-plating
Wire changed from 20 gauge to 18 gaugeEmitter drain on Turbo adjusted back to 6.5A .
7.5A gets hot too quick , even with the massive integrated head. You should really put turbo in the modes with switch 2. I don’t see why you don’t. Having turbo memorized would be a great option.
1. Double-click turbo is easy to access in any mode or off.
2. We have tested this turbo-momery UI already.
When we put turbo in modes with switch 2 and memorize turbo mode, It will be confused when people double-click in memorized turbo and find the brightness has no change.
Will be like this:
Single click-Turbo brightness-Double click—still Turbo brightness—Single click to previous memoried mode—Still turbo brightnessIt means when you are in memorized turbo, you click four times , the brightness has no change. Isn’t it annoying?

glad to see that turbo can be memorized! do we have a final turbo output? i honestly think 5500 lumens is a bit on the lower side. since you said this light has great thermal properties, i think the 7000 lumens is the better choice. the user will just turn it down to a lower mode once it gets too hot.
or doesnt the light have thermal step down? then that should take care of the issue.
are these lights ready for taking orders?

You guys are definitely on the right track. A member here and listening to our feedback and not making a huge profit margin…. Nice price
Any plans for EDC size?
waiting for a review in real life test
im more keen in triple led version for floody than this light but depending on its throw performance as i have couple of king throwers already
Any price for XHP35 + SMO reflector ?
Would you please double the price? I don’t really need a thrower, but I may not be able to resist that price and performance.

Hi blueb8llz
Especially thanks to your nice advice.
Any plans for EDC size?
HaikeLite EDC sample will come out at the end of this month too if no any delay. It’s a very special EDC light with LCD screen. I can’t public more info at the moment.

We do not mind setting the price above 150usd if you still want it.
I’m liking the look of this. This light and the triple light look very promising, may not be very good on my wallet. You guys look like you have the making of a great company.
Wow, sounds like a great price for the listed features. Eagerly awaiting the review(s).
Interesting.
