Received my 501XP-G... must've screwed down the head too much... now it emits 1 lumen. Is there a way to salvage any parts or tell whether the LED is burnt out? Thanks
Try loosen the reflector a bit, could be that the insulator between the reflector and led has broken.
It's could be a driver issue. The led should be fine.
Get some wire and connect a battery directly to the led.
Carefull when disassembling the driver from the pill. I had to use solder removing wire bead to do it quick to not heat damage the driver.
