Well, considering that torch is more than probably using this Cree XP-L HI U4 7A2 3000K-3500K LED, which is an H (80+) CRI bin emitter, looks great to me. On my wishlist.

Cheers ^:)

Hi friend

I had added the new stocks.

Thanks

Ban

Thank you very much order placed :+1:

“H” (80+) CRI bin spec: Cree XHP35 HD D4 50E White 5000K LED Emitter

“50E” cromaticity coordinates: 0'3447x, 0'3553y. In the very middle point of the 3s in the chromaticity chart. Ought to look pretty nice.

Cheers ^:)

Yes, the site could use some improvement there i.m.o.
It’s easy to overlook the LEDs on stars.

“LED stars” doesn’t find them either! Could you post a link to the mounted ones?

New triple copper boards with LEDs :

Do you know if they are DTP or not ?

Comparing with aluminium triple mcpcb pictures, copper ones seem to have DTP pads.

I hope KD will restock on the solid pills that fit SK68s

I bought the last one (sigh)

They’re still available wholesale through Ali, just search for
20.8mm(D)x16mm(H)-Aluminium-Driver-Pillar
But minimum quantity 10, and they offer shipload prices dirt cheap too. But shipping cost adds up too fast.
Need a retailer.

XHP70 bike light. A mountain biker community asked for it to be reprogrammed to hide the blinky modes and reverse the mode order. KD released this revised version with those changes, plus an AR lens.

Missed that BanL is here too. Good job BanL!

Certainly looks like it.
Splendid deal i.m.o. :+1:

Check this out hank:

DIY 21mm(D) x 14mm(H) Aluminium Driver Pillar Set for LED Flashlights @Kaidomain

Same actual height than my disemboweled SK68 clones. It's missing the o-ring slit, though. :(

Cheers ^:)

Huh. Thanks. That’s confusing.

This one, that’s out of stock (with O-ring in groove for zoomie))

DIY 20.8mm(D) x 16mm(H) Aluminium Driver Pillar Set for LED Flashlights (1 pc)
Thread spacing 18.1x1mm

And this one — without the O-ring groove — so how do you make the zoom work? How does it feel/behave/slide/hold setting?
Just stuff a thicker O-ring in above the threads?

The two (hollow) pills I have from my clones have different threading, therefore bodies and pills lego do not.

No caliper at hand, sorry. I may take another look at the threads later.

Cheers ^:)

Yeah, I’ve noticed the SK68-ish lights have gotten even cheaper than I imagined possible and various pieces no longer lego.
I swear they set the lathe cutting tools by eye every morning, “looks close enough for budget buyers ….”

I would like to see this little light get a serious price drop:

I think it’s cute but at $ 8.21 it’s way overpriced i.m.o.

(GB still has the original Sipik with XR-E in stock for about 3½ bucks.)
