LiitoKala 26650-50A 5000mah 26650 - great first impressions

Boy, that's some bad news... But never heard the expression "nerfed" before. I really was thinking the LK's were an upgrade to the "Powerizer" 26650 cell that for dropped by the seller couple years ago - best performing 26650 cell at the time. Me and Dale might have been the only ones into them, or least reporting on them. The labeling looks very much the same between the two, so might have been the same source.

Wonder if these from RIC are still the old style: http://cnqualitygoods.com/goods.php?id=2250

I use these LK's in pretty much all my single 26650 lights, and then some - tons of lights.

I use these LK batteries in my single cell 26650 lights too with no problem.

Never heard? Realy?

It was invented by US WoW players 10 years ago, after Blizzard constant characters “nerfs”
By that time i used to play that game with a Paladin, a shitty character but impossible to kill too, rofl

Yeah Tom, thats how the new ones look like, you can clearly see the code difference compared to my first picture

Dang...

Tom E and sidecross please name some of yours single cell 26650 lights.

I use these batteries in the Fenix PD40 and FD40 as well as the Manker U21.

Yikes - PK26, Convoy L2, HD2010's, Thorfire JM07's, Z1, X1, Yezl Y3's, FandyFire K2, Warsun, UranusFire C818, 1405's, SupFire L5's and L6, Convoy X3, plus more unbranded or forgetting.

“Nerfed”, LoL! Remembers me of my much earlier times of playing dumba$$ online “role” playing games.

Those units seem good on the pictures Tom E but, how do we know what batch of cells they're stocking?

Potentially alternative source of “unnerffed” units: Authentic Soshine NCR26650 3.6V 5000mAh Rechargeable Li-ion Batteries

Cheers ^:)

I have had good results from Soshine 500mAh batteries I bought last year; they are protected and well under 70mm for use in series.

These cells are good, but they are bigger than specification which can be a problem.

I use them in a Manker U21 and a Cometa.Very satisfied.

Received one 26650 Liitokala from gearbest. Put it through the Lii-500 capacity test and after 19 hours it shows 5266mAh but at 3,55v...

I don't understand, is it safe to use? Also it doesn't fit in to my Shadow JM35.

altblf, may I suggest you to get a cheeeap multimeter?

These may not be terrifically accurate, but sure as @#$% you won't miss them much if you calibrate 'em with a fine adjuster. LoL!

Cheers ^:)

For crying out loud m8, your Li500 is in a test mode not charge mode:) it could be clearly seen in the provided photo

Update!

Test/Review of LiitoKala INR 26650 5000mAh cells. from our beloved CPF fellows

Even considering cell “C” came from a different manufacturer (PLB vs Hengji Battery), the cells are well matched.

Cheers ^:)

Ha! Yeah I forgot it doesn’t charge it after testing… Thanks

Will this batteries work with ROP Maglite Mod?

If you can fit a tad above 130mm of battery lenght on a 2D tube, I don't see why not.

Remember to install a 2S battery management board if under-discharge protection is required.

Cheers ^:)

Old good kind is back , the last 2 orders that i got came to be from the good old ones

I`ve tested them agains the newest Efest purple model and Li 26650 performed better with our fet dd drivers

Yet, they dont perform great with buck drivers, for instance Efest 5200 or Soshine 5500 works better with them
