Nichia NV4x144Ax: What voltage and CCT would you like?

Their flagship in SE Asia market is the 757. But theyā€™re not guaranteed for outdoor uses due to the silver plating and plastic case - prone to sulfuration. The new 219 and 144 are ceramic based and gold plated - resist sulfuration much better.
I think Iā€™ll ask for some samples of E21s in the package to experiment with.

Great stuff. :+1:

The polling will still be available until 2016 December 31st

Any prospects on this yet?

Yeah, high prospect. Iā€™ll start ordering late this October. Factory lead time is 4-5 weeks (from the launching) for the NV4, 2-3weeks for the 219C. But theyā€™ll try to sell me their NV4 sample stock (same spec as the final version) if itā€™s available for faster delivery.

Will it be interesting for me, as a guy in EU who would like, say, 2 pieces of the 6 Volts 4000K (or 4500K) on MCPCB?

Iā€™ll post the offer once I get them. I also need to learn how to sell in the commercial section.

I voted 3500K 6V, I assume this is about R9050 leds.

It is lonesome for 3500K lovers, there was the XM-L2 6A1 80CRI, later a 6A3 XP-L, both since long sold out at intl-outdoor, and my copper AA Maratac houses an outdated gen1 3500K 80CRI Oslon Square that still produces a lovely tint.

Iā€™m almost prepared to buy the Nitecore TIP CRI, just for the purpose of robbing the 3500K R9050 219C that is inside :person_facepalming:

3000K is a tad too warm for my taste.

As far as I know you simply have to post in there and not cross post the same thing in other areas of the site (minor advertising when warranted is usually accepted).

I think the biggest thing is just being up front that you are selling it as a company/business and not spamming the site with it. Although there is a thread in that section with all the official rules.

I can get you the 219C 3500K 9050. Already in my PO to Nichia

Cool I would not mind a few of those myself for tint mixing purposes.

I donā€™t know if this mission critical or notā€¦ā€¦
In my project I use 4 pcs of 219C 9050 in each fixture, under heavy sandblasted glass diffuser. So tint mismatch isnā€™t a big problem. Unless Maukka with his weapon comes to that particular hotel I created the lights for, nobody would notice the difference in tint/CRI.
But then again, I have to pay 20% additional cost because I decided to order in 3 steps McAdamsā€¦ Doh! :person_facepalming:
They already flooded with picky requests from me hahahaha  : mixed order, mixed colour, lowest VF, highest flux, and now tightest binned

LOL, I know how orders like that go. I think we will all take what we can get. Just knowing that we are getting exactly what is advertised is worth more then getting exactly what we want.

When you order from china you never know what you are actually getting.

Maybe you can send some extra to Djozz so he could sell / send a couple of them to meā€¦?
(just an idea)

No problem =)

Any chance you could ask Nichia for some NWSL or NCSL 219B-V1 R9080 sw45k ? Iā€™d love to get my hands on those!

Sorry, but I only purchase 3000K, 3500K, and 4000K 219C 9050.
But If you want it I could buy it for you. Each type/CCT minimum order is 100 pcs from 3500 pcs total minimum order. This is the best chance if you want to include it in my purchase.
FYI, Iā€™m trying to get E21A 9080 sample for testing. Dunno how much samples Iā€™d get

What? A 90+CRI emitter with enhanced deep red light emissivity? Hope they get involved in improving violet frequencies too (whatever that is up to). No idea what ā€œNCSLā€ vs ā€œNWSLā€ means.

And, for the love of God fellows, trim down those quotes, please; they look freaky on narrow screens. Thanks. :-)

Cheers ^:)

No need to be sorry and thanks for the offer. Unfortunately I have no idea what I should do with 100 emitters, but itā€™s tempting nevertheless. I have to think about it. When do you want to place your order?

I mean the NCSL 219B-V1 R9080 sw45k wouldnā€™t be outdated, even if Nichia would come up with a NWSL 219C R9080, because the NCSL is a smaller die-emitter what should give more throw, should be quite nice under 20mm Carclo opticsā€¦ And the sw45k bin is also quite special, because itā€™s not just around 4500K but also only under or on the black-body-curve, thatā€™s the good side of the curve if youā€™d ask meā€¦
