Ok, I will call this project complete and post pictures of the finished kit here, in the OP and the competition thread. (You can’t miss it really)
I will try to update the text in the different sections aswell in the last few days.

Special thanks to everyone who contributed here, you’re brilliant! and to those that silently watched my progress on the build. :+1:

It has been many hours and certainly an unpredictable build for sure, considering I had only intended to make two or three parts to start with but I am quite pleased with how the kit grew as ideas kept coming to me as I was working.
That seems to be the way I work with such things, I just sit with a load of parts, bits & pieces in front of me and see what takes shape, often the outcome is quite different from the initial idea.

I have really enjoyed working on this, I hope and believe that I have made something with the materials and in the manner that the founder of this competition is proud of… (except for blackening the case of course)

Inspired by Old Lumens.

Thanks,

CRX Magnetic Brass Art Kit

All the pieces

.

And the Carry Case

Very impressive.

+1 I can’t think of words to describe how awesome this is, so “very impressive” will have to do. :crown:

A whole lot of impressive.

The detail to the finish on such small parts is impressive. Well done again. :+1:

Just awesome dude!

I can’t even comprehend all this.

I thought it was awesome until I saw the last pic where you were holding the whole unit in your hand. Now it’s unbelievable. How did you make all that so small? This whole time I thought they were all much much bigger. Reminds me of something Doctor Who would carry around.

If you ever find out the answer to your question please let me know.

Thanks very much guys

We may never know

That is just too neat. :+1: :+1: Great craftsmanship and certainly a lot of work and thought went into that project. Super Nice!!
