What I mean by that is buying two new cars is not exactly reason to feel bad for you
most folks all like the same stuff.
my suggestion if of course separate out the lights you will be keeping (more expensive lights bring in more money, not exactly a secret) :person_facepalming:
From there we will all want to see photos (at least one) it is hard to memorize/visualize other folks inventory.
Maybe group them by use EDC (maybe singles and multi are two different threads?), Thrower, Flood, Hot Rod and make a thread for each type.
As far as pricing goes put a price and best offer (of course I want you to net as much as possible but folks want deals (its just a fact))
From there you will see where the real demand is: after the initial snapping up of the high cool/$$$ ratio lights (in the buyers mind) then you can see what you want to do with the slower moving items (hopefully you will get cleaned out, but just in case it wont be a surprise)
I have a number of Dale modded lights in there ( I believe it is 7 off the top of my head) and I can say they all perform very well.
He has a knack for making the lights do more than they should , even with the mods many times and the work is done in a very clean manner. Of course this event is taking place when I flat cant afford to buy anything….lol
Sorry the situation warrants these measures Dale , but I do wish you the best of luck with your sales since it has come to that point.
Isn’t it funny how much the MecArmy PT10 and chopped D80 resemble each other?
The Barracuda came to me with heavy lateral ridges from the machining, really sucked, and it was super difficult getting into it. I sanded cross grain to eliminate the ridges then polished it out. It’s not as shiny as a factory finish but it certainly helped a lot and the resulting hot spot is very nice, need to get a lux reading on it.
Edit: The Barracuda is doing 198Kcd for 890M throw. Not bad for a light that came with a very messed up reflector originally.
