Various 26650 capacity tests

The charger charges to approximately 4.18v all cells were discharged to 2.5v before charging.

Litokala 5000mah

AWT IMR 5200mah

Li-ion battery unbranded 7200mah

GTF “LED FLASHLIGHT EXPERT” 8800mah

KeepPower 5200mah (ignore result on left it was not fully discharged)

Conclusion - if the device will accommodate the “fat man” litokalas then i would purchase them, otherwise but the keeppowers which are slightly longer but are thinner.

Dude Mattjk, the correct result of the capacity of your battery, you will not see it during charging.

In charging the meter measures the total current will pass from the circuit.
Will not measure the current that would go on purely battery.

In discharging however, you will see the net during your batteries.

I think that amount of charge is what went into the cell. And since the coulombic efficiency of these Li ion cells is very high, this number is very close to the discharge capacity.

Was just to show the fails of the GTF and “Li-ion” batteries really they were both from eBay and were very cheap.

Mattjk fella, do a discharge test on Liitokala to see with a simple charger what to give.\

Thank’s …
