ANNT $40 LED Light Bar

I had a chance to do a review of the ANNT LED Light Bar… only retails for $40. What do you all think, worth it?

Hi trailrecon. Honestly, I thought this might be a spam post, but your review seemed pretty objective. I’m not into off roading, so I as far as a functional light bar I haven’t a clue. However, for 40 leds that thing doesn’t put out any light whatsoever. I found the light on Amazon and there is absolutely no way it is 12,000 lumen. The leds are most likely crap with the blue light they emit. I have single emitter pocket lights that put out more light than that bar.

Anyway, your video was very high quality and objective as well. Thanks for posting.

You do get what you pay for. The led’s are most likely LatticeBright a knock off of Cree without any of the quality of Cree. Those 7000+ k glare masters would kill any chance to see colors. The flexed lens tells me water and dust proofing are probably not there. I payed a lot more for my light but I’ve only got one off road jeep so I tend to put the better items on. I would consider this one disposable.

There are a number of these out (rebranded) and all of them I’ve seen are pretty much junk. Every one I’ve seen leak like crazy and a few the cast mounting brackets have broke. I would maybe get one to put on my kids go cart but no way I’d put one on my blazer.

I will say these lights are a good step and often make the companies that overprice their stuff to lower prices.

Seems like a spam post since he never came back… :rage:

more cheap n nasty glare bomb crap.
seeing lots of this type of light on the lifted, coal rolling “male compensation” trucks around here.
and thats what i thought i was seeing when i noticed the hideous purple tinted mess coming at me on i-70.
finally a market outlet for latticebright.
a crowd that loves ugly purple lights on their cars/trucks.
edit.
the leds appear to be the 100 for $8.99 luxeon clones.
and it looks as if some are overheating and putting the blue patch in the beam!
i give it only a few hours before the leds start dieing off.

Got a lot of those dumptrucks around here too. Had a guy come up to me two days ago bragging about his “HEMI”. I respectfully let him know that Dodge quit making the Hemi back in the early 70’s, and that Hemi stood for hemispherical heads which the new engines don’t have, hence, Hemi is merely a marketing trademark now. Also let him know his 5.7 liter push-rod “Hemi” has virtually the same hp and torque specs as my stock 5 liter Ford F150 engine. He didn’t want to hear all that.
