Just bought mine…

Awesome. That is, by far, the best picture I’ve seen of the rainbow finish… and they’re both nicer-looking than the one Olight used in the promo pics. Now I’m tempted to get one.

Also, Olight and some other stores have an engraving service available. Maybe now is the time to finally get “Carpe Noctem” engraved on a light.

It would go well with my EDC pen and knife:

I agree - that is a good pic. I really struggled under many conditions to get a pic that really does the beauty of this little torch justice. It’s not just multi-coloured, it is weird. In bright light it is gorgeous, with vibrant colours. But I’m sitting here under my relatively dim living room lighting and the colours haven’t been muted, it’s more like they’ve been enriched. It’s an extraordinarily good looking little torch. I put a suggestion forward to Olight that they should sell alternative clips for a cheap price - I think the Rainbow would look splendid with a dull, plain steel clip on it to provide a little contrast.

Anyway, I think everyone should get a Rainbow……

The rose gold version I have sitting here is for my wife’s birthday, 8 days away. Yes, I would have opened it to see this light, but it’s in a sealed plastic wrapped box. So, I have to wait. I had it engraved as well, and am wondering if they engraved it after it was coated or before? There was a wait time, as if it had to be done coming through production, so I’m hoping the coating was applied on top of the engraving so there are no issues. not sure what would be best there.

Oh yea I remember reading your posts about the gift.

It would be very nice if the coating was applied last.

My S mini bead blasted arrived today. This thing is tiny, especially compared to my bead blasted S10ti from a few years ago. I will post pics of both when I get a chance.

Day after tomorrow, will find out how they did the engraving. The 16th is my wife’s birthday. I should probably have gotten myself a Kevlar vest, so I can make fun of her age with some modicum of guarantee that I won’t die for it. lol Few more years and I’ll be looking for a cane and a box of depends as a gag gift. (I could NEVER!, my wife, she’s as short tempered as she is short, no sense of humor at all) [oops! did i say she was short? If I tease her hair she’s 9’ tall! but if i did that the monster would come out for sure!]

I have an engraved S1 from last fall. Love it. Looks like the font for the engraving matches the Olight logo.

It’s been a while since I’ve been to the site….maybe should have stayed away.
Don’t have any 1 x CR123A / 1 x RCR123A flashlights and have thought about 1 from time to time.
This Ti one looks really, really nice……
$102 later, I have a Bead Blasted one on order with 2 rechargeable batteries, charger and case.
Happy and sad at the same time. LOL

If I understand correctly, that wasn’t engraved by Olight. I think Banggood has their own engraving service, or maybe they hired it out. Mine is the same way.

Here are a few lights for comparison: ET D25A Ti 2012, ZL SC52, L3 L10, Olight S10 Ti, Olight S1 Ti, Olight S Mini Cu, BLF A01 Cu. Of all of these, the shortest one puts out the most light.

It’s hard to tell in that pic, but the last letter is an ‘e’, not an ‘a’.

Selene is a very nice name - maybe you get echoes of Underworld which I expect you might get sick of.

Lovely name though.
