The clip Solarforce touches the tube of the flashlight and can scratch the surface. I added a small plastic insert.
This component is required to combine the mainboard to the case, they used some years ago but still can be found.
Take this part only, and leave those little plastic extensions, used to put it better. 
Paste with a drop of CA glue inside the clip solarforce.
Now the plastic is in contact with the tube and the wear is smaller.
The clip is harder to loosen, can be an advantage or a disadvantage

Theres a ton of plastic rivets and push rivets at eBay but I´m yet to discover the right word for searching these...

you could probably just cut up a small piece from a clear plastic soda bottle and glue that in place.

There is always clear heat shrink tubing as well.
The plastic rivet is cooler tho. Looks professional.
Yes it does.....i have a lot of heatshrink but it throws the beauty off, especially since mine are yellow and red lol.

I have used black heatshrink tubing with good results, but this is a much better-looking approach.
Please let us know if you can find the exact item. I would like to do this to a few of mine.
