Good, that’s kinda what I thought but I didn’t want to be the greedy joker that bought all the emitters either. Glad to know I can have my four without guilt
Thanks again.

hey djozz, please put me down for
10x 219C 90cri 4000k
thanks clemence and djozz!
Djozz :
4 × 219C 90cri 4000k
So dumb confirming question:
The “– NV4L144AM (144A 6V) 4500K, Ra9050, E900 flux, sm453 (3 steps McAdams, tightest bin available)
NV4L144AM Data sheet (link is external) This 4500K 9050 will be available in mid December 2016 due to raw material shortage – Nichia Rep” Emitters are much like XHP50 emitters in that they are both big and need 6v, sort of an XHP50 without the cross and a high CRI. Am I close?
Can I get 5 each if the 3000K and 3500K 219C?
Is the 4000K the same bin as offered by Rey? I have a bunch coming from him.

The one from Rey is sm405 (afaik), here you get sm403.

They are close, djozz has a test posted of them. It does still have a cross but not as noticeable. It is a good high output high CRI LED but it won’t match the XHP50 in raw power like most Nichia LED’s.
What about 144A LEDs with 4000K? I thought those were also ordered?

Sorry, I ran out of money to get more than 300pcs of 144A - they’re expensive
Based on Maukka’s test the 5700K (5steps) resulted in lower 5000ish. I assume with 3 steps, we’ll end up the 4500K close to 4200ish. The demand of 5700K and 4500K also higher.
Cheers,
Clemence
I just got an update on the available quantities as od this evening.
Currently we only have:
100pcs of sm503 144A
100pcs of sm573 144A
80pcs of sm305 219C
100pcs of sm 353 219C
300pcs of sm403 219C
These will be first come, first served.
If you want some super nice high CRI LED’s this is your chance. I doubt you will see more 3 step binned 219c’s for sale for quite a long time if ever.
I’m pretty sure they do. But I just today found out that the Nitecore TM03 uses a type of two tier reflector that will very effectively hide it.
Finaly I appreciate their “PDOT” reflector. Used to be just one of many Nitecore marketing abbreviations for me
Hi Clemence…can you put me down for 10 × 219C 90cri 4000K sm403 please….

Hi Djozz,
I want to buy:
4 x 219C 3000K
4 x 219C 3500K
Do these 144As have the Spiegelei problem the one djozz tested did? If not, I want some, and I don’t even have a host for them yet.
I put 5000K R8000 D280s in my Jetbeam T6 and lost an estimated 100 lumens, but gained about 200m FL1 throw over the original XP-Ls. It does get hot faster, but 219Cs can serve well in a role like this.
I got four of the 4000K R9050s in the mail a couple days ago. So far, I put one in a Convoy S3 along with a TIR. It’s nice, but my preference would be 5000K.
GOOD NEWS!!
No more egg yolk/spiegelei/bull’s eye/sunny side up for these 144A! It seems that the phosphors in the samples we got were not stirred long enough. I’m still testing and soldering right now. Will update the result in appropriate existing thread
That’s great news!
@Djozz :
Please put me down for 4 × 219C 90cri 4000K sm403
Djozz, I just realised that the shipping is from inside the EU and therefore without Customs VAT limit.
Would you be so kind to put me down for 10 instead of 4. Thanks!
