Wrist watches. Post pics, if you EDC one!

I have always enjoyed watches Terry, even from younger years casio watches(you remember those great calculator ones from the 80’s?). Then i went through a good few years of going naked…………watch-less. The rotary(chrono) served me that well i never really took much interest for years until recently. Then decided to get a fresh one without the beat up look….

Flashlights is another story, thinned my heard now to around 50, most modded or custom with the minority being factory. Be it drivers, leds, triples, quads, titanium to bare ano. Pretty much have most my illuminating needs covered. Boys and their toys………….all fun :+1: ……………and practical of course

This is my current EDC:

Lol drives my wife nuts but she's a sweetie and puts up with it. My guitars is where she starts drawing the line. 2 years ago I bought a Martin. wanted one all my life. She said you've earned it, biy it. lol then she saw the invoice where I ordered it. lol that look was pricless.

Ha ha, classic………we only live once, life is too short for regrets! Luckily i dont have too many illnesses, or ones that are expensive(i know watches can be one of the worst), i dont have the money for it to become that way :money_mouth_face:

One i got a while back

Another addition, citizen this time and polished case/bracelet

Have a 009 on the way, thats off Rach and the kids for xmas though so wont have till then. Reason for a 009 over a 007(may get at a later date anyway) is simply the pepsi bezel grew on me from when i first looked into one. Kind of like the blue face and bezel to break up the normal black basically……….

Hamilton Jazzmaster Automatic

25 jewel Swiss made

Very nice!

This watch is probably the most eye-pleasing if I would choose another now. …and almost regardless of price

Whilst I await the 009, the citizen will fill my pepsi needs

Busy week for watches, 3 of the 4

This hamilton is a timeless classic :+1:

The Citizen NY0040 is up there with the SKX, i wonder if they are discontinued, they have been sold out in lot of places for a long time…i really need to get one, the NY2300 is a great catch, even harder to find, i’m jealous :innocent:

Thanks James, really like the citizens and the bonus of being able to wind via the crown over shaking it ! Got a 20mm super engineer 2 coming for the pepsi bezel…………might get a 22mm watchadoo bracelet once the 009 comes(well after xmas anyway).

Apparently the 0040 might be discontinued also, oh well i went and ordered both BNIB, presented it as an investment to the better half, and it might not be completly oportunistic optimism… :innocent:

I like your style James! Will have to try that one

Today i received some nato straps from BG, at first sight they appear as good as the ones i have from cheapnatostraps, but less expensive obviously, :+1:

Arrival of the 009 came today, tried on and adjusted the bracelet to suit(only needed a couple of holes back on the clasp part).

Little line up of the recent time telling devices

Thats it for now!!! Just await a strap and may order another in new year…………time to(pun intended) enjoy, dont want too many sat there…….

Different bracelet for the 2300 came(have 2 more on the way also 20mm, just in case i want to swap) today in post. Similar as the super engineer 2

Prefer curved to fit the watch but no big deal(more choice for straight)

I have a few watches so I don’t always wear the same one every day.
This one gets a lot of wrist time since my old tired eyes have no issues reading it, day or night.

I have several new watches…partially because we are evaluating manufacturers…and also because I really dig ’em

Here is a Chinese “Bliger” GMT Sub I picked up off of the bay for cheap:

Edit: Review here.

What’s the verdict on this one Kronological ?

A little early to tell…but initial impressions are quite good. I must say, it looks quite nice.

I sized it and will wear it the next few days to see how it holds up. I might do a review on it and a few other autos I have…another Bliger, a few Parnis’ and some others.

Cheers,
Krono
