[SALE] High CRI 90+ Nichias (ENDED)

Those LEDs sent to Djozz and Texas_Ace are already belong to those ordered and paid for them earlier.
At the moment, what you can buy for the 2nd batch is only what’s available in the OP listing. I will try to add more LED but I can’t promise you that since getting Nichia emitters is NOT easy for me. Of course, you can always ask Tex or Djozz just in case they have several extras they’re willing to sell for you.

- Clemence

At this point we only have 4000k emitters left.

That is perfectly ok, I will PM TA for the 4000k. Thanks for putting this together

Great, got you added to the list!

DHL says that the north America order should be delivered on Monday!

Looks like North America is going to receive our leds before Christmas!

Any chance for you to find sm303 m8? Those would be the ultimate base for DIYed home spotlights!

I paid on Dec 1, but really haven’t followed up on when these will ship. Any details on that? Thanks!

sm303 m8? Never heard of it
FYI,there will be more sm273 and sm303.

Tex should be took care of your order already I guess

m8 = mate

oh meight……I thought that was some kind of strange binning code

Your order is incoming as we speak with the rest of north Americas LED’s.

The shipment from clemence is set to arrive on Monday according to DHL.

It should not take me more then a few days to sort them, re-pack and re-ship them out to everyone on my list.

So hopefully they will be on their way to you by next Thursday at the latest and should be delivered the following week unless you live close to Texas.

They should be delivered to those in the US before Christmas.

Light up those trees!

I have a question regarding the Nichia 144A LED´s.
I want to build a Light Bar for my workshop. I want to use 3 or 4 x144A 9050 sm573 LED´s in series with this driver (http://www.banggood.com/250W-12-50V-Adjustable-10A-Aluminum-Board-Power-Boost-LED-Driver-Module-p-1026633.html?rmmds=myorder). I want to drive the LED´s with max 3A (total W max all LED´s together 100-150W). My question is if the Aluminium Profile is enough to handle the heat from the 144A´s (LED on Djozz Nichia MCPCB fitted on the Alu Profile with thermal glue). And i hope that someone can tell me which TIR for the 144A is frosted an has the widest spread?

I am not good with paint software but i hope it is possible to see what i want to build.

Yes, that setup should work, you might need to add a fan blowing through the inside of the tube to keep things cool but that is not hard.

Far as the tir goes, there are a lot of options, just find something with a wide beam angle and that is sized to fit the XM-L. I have only really messed with the narrow beam angle TIR’s myself but I did get a 90 degree tir that gave a nice even flood and they have even wider ones as well.

You also will very possible have to make some kind of spacers / centering ring for the TIR to mount to the top of the tube, it is unlikely that it will be just the right height to “snap” the tir into place.

FYI, not all XML TIR suitable for 144A. I’ve tested some TIR meant for XML and they don’t fit. That’s because 144A emitter is slightly taller than XML. You better start searching for XHP50/70 TIR. And as a bonus you’ll get better beam profile since XHP50/70 has rather severe artifact problem. All good TIR designed for XHP50/70 overcome this problem with some kind of colour mixing put into the design.
For workshop application I really like the Jenny CY from Ledil, it’s an excellent fit for 144A based on the data sheet. Haven’t try it yet
144A designed for high bay application and so does Jenny CY. It will give you a rounded square even illumination on the floor.

If you need even wider beam angle:

Those aluminum profile won’t be enough to cool 3 x 144A @3A if you want to keep the Tj lower than 85C. Edit: I didn’t see your annotations.
For more surface area you can drill as many as possible holes on it. The maximum surface are gained with hole diameter = aluminum profile thickness.

Are you sure?
It’s 2 meters long and at least 40 x 60 mm.
Some holes may be good to have some airflow though.

Ah……that explains. I didn’t check the annotations at the picture. To me, judging from the picture’s scale, it’s about 50cm or something.
If it’s 200cm then it should be OK.
Thanks for correcting Jeroen.

Theonlydocc, here’s a scaled drawing I made for you. If you want to update the dimensions, just let me know.
