I don’t know if the idea has been raised or if it’s already happened, but I think it would be cool to have a get-together someday.

Given the nature of our hobby, it would probably be a camping trip, but I’m fine with that!

I have a very nice hunting hut, it could hold up to 8 persons PLUS i have a huge millitary tent and tons of flashlight to test

I am! I’m so American that I decided that Uncle Sam needed me.

But Uncle Sam decided he needs me as a flyboy in the birthplace of lager and bratwurst. It’s neat living here - so many US folks don’t get to experience what Europe is all about.

But I haven’t heard of too many flashlight meetups, so I wanted to ask. And man, they’re making it hard - hunting lodge in Bulgaria, the Hague, and experiencing gemutlichkeit in the Austrian Alps!

Ohh, wow, Max, you live very close to a buddy of mine I knew when we were both in Afghanistan. He was Austrian Special Forces and lives in Vienna. Very nice gentleman!

Even though you don’t live in the Alps, it’s still a beautiful area.

I’m a European fan of flashlights and BBQs, too! Interested to attend wherever it may happen. So far all suggested locations were really cool. I do like :beer: & wine is fine.

I’d be interested in this, for sure. Just need to be conscious of the kwh limits airlines put on the amount of Li batts you can take onto a plane :smiley:

I’ve always wanted to trek through mountains at night with a bunch of flashlights to keep me warm. The better half and I trek through Pec pod Sněžkou, along the Czech/Polish border every other year, which is snowy mountain trails. It’s very easy to do, very difficult to get lost due to the signposting and wide open paths. Maybe something similar could be safely done elsewhere in Europe, like the Alps?
