Cycle testing is easy enough to do, but it would require an extra DMM connected between the two cells to really see any unbalance and it takes a lot of time to cycle. 100 cycles on a 18650 cell is about 1 month testing time when keeping current reasonable (1A).
Whoa da -- it's here! The 20700. Didn't realize. so 12A max continuous. The capacity is look'n. Guess resistance is better than GA's, not as low as a 30Q, based on it's max 12A rating. We'll see if this makes a good percentage of our lights obsolete.
Meanwhile, in the thirld world of batteries, stars like LiitoKala 26650-50A(B) seem unnoticed by the @#$%ple…
Am I the only one who is seeing an incredible amount of fuss about a new freakin' cell format? Could care less about something I don't a really have a use for.
I was in one of my recent battery reviews that somebody say I got most of the stuff I review for free, get paid for the reviews and make them accordingly, but he makes much more reliable reviews because he uses his own money. I could only find 3 reviews from 2016 and he copies my heading style (test/review in the title).
Nice, it all went faster than I thought, so not the first year just available for cars, but straight to the single cell markets.
It is waiting now for the first flashlight using the 20700. Dale?
Mmmkay, 20700s… why? At what price? High price/value quotients mean “nothing” in my world.
On the other hand, pretty sure lots of those flashlights designed with 3×AAA adapters in mind should be able to work with this new format, at least if there's room for those 5mm of extra battery tube lenght.

Anyone who has followed you through the years knows of your high integrity and professionalism through your testing. You are not bought!
We all appreciate your time, effort and money spent to test all of the electronics for all of us. Keep up the good work. And thank you.
He might the first flashlight guy with hands on a 21700 cell
But I dont see why manufactors switch to those cells before there is a market with protected cells established
Only if they want to sell their own cells with the lights to make more profit
It depends if people want to jump on a new type of batteries before they are established
