ENEDED

Kindly take note of the expected arrival date (indicated above the price) before you make your purchase next time.

I can’t find it, not in the OP, not in the PM ??

I see, I did not expect the light being on backorder at the moment that you were giving out the coupon codes so I did not look for it, I bet a few others are surprised by that too. How about giving a notice in your PM when lights are not in stock next time?

I bet you guys are too used to my ready-stock group buy in the past. Unfortunately, a lot things have changed (e.g sales strategy) after change in management.

I will try my best to inform you guys early next time.

Which is the reason I haven’t bought one yet. That, and the lack of hands-on reviews. Still want one, though.

Ordered within minutes of receiving the code from Freeme. BG just emailed me saying restock is Dec 20th. No big deal, I can wait.

Ordered one grey NW. Thanks Freeme!

When I ordered mine it said it was in stock. I actually got an email saying shipped, then days later I got an email saying it was back-ordered and asking if I wanted to wait.

Edit: Sorry, that may be the Klarus Mi7 Ti they did that on, then sent a shipping number almost immediately afterwards. My bad. (like I can be expected to remember details on all the lights I order! Geesh! :stuck_out_tongue: )

Interested depending on price

Mine shipped early today

Interested.

They wait for ppl to buy the lights before making them because they’re short on cash and already owe latticebrite so can’t get any more LEDs on credit.
I ordered 2 so I can joke.
I like my DQG with triple led so really happy to buy this.

Hey Tom? How fun is it gonna be fitting 7 10mm SinkPAD’s into this puppy? I’m betting the mcpcb is aluminum and not direct thermal path. So to swap in some W2 emitters it’s gonna take some work…

. Actually I was thinking it would be DTP and I got a lot of XP-G3's, but XP-L2's sound like the ultimate for this.

This one would be awesome, but sure too big at 40 mm for this light: http://www.cutter.com.au/proddetail.php?prod=cut3061

The diameter could of course be fine tuned, wonder if the emitter footprint is anywhere near correct for their optic? Interesting……

PS: I might just have to pick one of those and it’s accompanying optic up from Cutter and rebuild the head of my Ti/Cu EDC light!

Cutter really does drive me nuts. They got some great stuff but shoot themselves in the foot with errors in the listings, lack of responding, only pricey Intl shipping options, lack of bare LED's, some great MCPCB's but can't buy them bare. That 7 LED TPAD is worth building a light around, with a few options for optics.

Just got this email from BG:

The NW shows stock on the 20th, and I thought I ordered the CW because it had a better availability date...

I know we’re seeing copper there, but on the site it says aluminum. And if you search through their mcpcb’s it doesn’t turn up at all. Crazy.

“The Cutter-XPG-3-407-E1 is a high power Led Light Engine using the new Cree XPG-3 Led. This version is Neutral White 6500k in S5 Flux

The Cree XPG-3 White LEDs are pre-soldered to a 40mm Round Shaped Metal Core PCB. The aluminum base makes it easy to access the leds via power pads and solder hook up wire to the LED using standard hand tools. Fastening the LED assembly to a heat sink is simplified using either…”

Pretty sure 6500K isn’t Neutral White too. So many possibilities, hard to know what’s what on their site.

Yes, exactly. This is common - drives me nuts. And since it's a big commitment of $$$ buying from them, I try to confirm the real deal in emails and they go unanswered.... ugh.

Interested! Please send me the code!
Thanks!
