Cree numbers are very conservative and usually rated at where the emitter still achieves a decent lm/watts while managing the heat, with proper heat sinking the XHP35 HI can do up to 2,500lm.
Idk why but the Imalent lights never took off on CPF. They look like great lights and I was going to buy one at one point. Still interested and the new lights look impressive indeed!
Surprising! Usually manufacturers do the opposite. In this case it’s excellent news. Do you have links where this has been published, like Texas_Ace did these last days for the LatticeBright (node 51604)?
And what about the XHP70? Can it reach 4500-5000lm?
That’s what the thread above shows. Of course this is only relevant for turbo mode. In the announcement the DN70 is better (waiting for the reviews to see how much it really does) but even if true could be significantly more…
Is it possible to have at least 5klm in turbo? Current batteries can do 20A continuous, so this doesn’t seem to be a limiting factor. Are there boot drivers that can reach ~10A in the output? Do they fit in a light of the size of DN70 or R50?
I think you don’t see much interest is the ridiculous pricing. I can have a Thrunite TN42 for far less. Or an acebeam K70 or several other K series for less $$.
The 8k lumen numbers combined with over 250,000 candlepower is enticing but the pricetag…arrggg
