im back, and questions now about cr2 batteries

so to be honest guys, ive been avoiding the forum cause i spend too much money on this stuff.

BUT, i am back, and i need a few suggestions

In my search for railed flashlights for my handguns, I have purchased the NCstar (meh) and more recently, the aim sports subcompact....

to my dismay (despite the room) the aim sports subcompact takes a CR2...

to my advantage, the head of the aim sports FITS perfectly (believe its the same chinese manufacturer) on the body of the ncstar. the aim uses what looks like an older XRE q5 (bin color seems to match a few i have in my stash)

Now, ive already tested that the head (and driver/led) can take a rechargeable cr123. 4.2V doesnt burn it or make it overly hot. stays cool to the touch and still seems underdriven.

SOOOO im looking for a reliable cr2 rechargeable, 3.7V preferably.

Now ive found a few options at DX, but most have no reviews (ultrafire...). does anyone know of any made by a reputable company. aka, xtar, solarforce, trustfire (despite my problems with some trustfire batteries), etc.

and while a bit offtopic, anyone have a good suggestion for other budget flashlights on rails? doesnt seem to be much lol

Hard to find a good 16340. Check out the battery threads

I bought 6 of these Ultrafire CR2s in April I still have 4 brand new ones in the wrapper. The 2 I used are still going strong.

If you want a cheap pistol mounted light this offset mount works really well. With an Ultrafire 501A mounted it places the tailcap switch perfectly at your trigger finger.

For a premade light the factory Glock light can be had for under a hundred and it's dead reliable.

Agreed. I bought a pair of these for my Aurora SH-33 and they have been great, much better than expected.

ok then, i guess ill get the ultrafires....

wish we had them tested. maybe ill test them and submit them to old when i get em.

also, e1320, i have a few of those and while its nice to use a small flashlight like that, its too bulky like that to fit in any holster. tried it already lol

but they are a good mount for rifles! lol

got an XM-L i switch between my AR and cx4 storm on one of those rail adapters

I am going away for a couple days, but when I get back I can test them for you if you really want to know.

well i just sent you money for yours, so i can do some in depth testing and send it to old (if hes still doing that battery log)

also curious on the xtar 3.0V RCR123s now. those look interesting if they are truly 1400 mah
