What? Manker, great gesture!

Kramer, I’m planning on giving my girlfriend an engagement ring soon. If she loses it do I still get credit?

Thanx very much Mankerlight! That was totally unexpected and very appreciated.

+1

Between this and the light for OL, you guys are going to have some friends for life.

Sean

Wow! Totally unfrigg’nreal. Way to go Manker! :+1:

Absolutely Sean.

I’m not a rich man, but some things transcend dollars. Loyalty is one of those traits that far transcends normal values IMO. I fully appreciate it when someone has my 6 (despite my screw up in this case) and folks who do that are few and far between. I understand that some folks want the inexpensive lights and want to save a few dollars, after all, this is the BLF, but the E-11 isn’t an expensive light and the quality is higher than the price, as is the company IMO. I never expected this sort of treatment and didn’t post with any expectation from my tale of woe other than to merely cry into my beer. I have absolutely no connection to Manker other than as a full retail paying customer and what has been read here on the BLF.

I know it’ll only be a light, but the replacement will have a bit more value for me than the lights I purchased. Over the years the character marks that it’ll acquire will mean something.

And here’s to hoping you find the lost one when the snow banks clear. Boy, will that one have some “character” and live on to be sumpin’ special !!

Fingers still crossed for luck in that regard! Stranger things have happened to me.

I found it!

We’d been checking the melting snowbanks, then today I decided to check the cab of the truck again. BINGO!

I checked the cab on the day I lost it and it wasn’t seen. Today I looked and put my hand in where I couldn’t see and there it was. The cell was still at 4.09v and light works fine.

I’m tickled that I found it!

Good for you!

Good for you!

Awesome! Kind of like finding money in your pants after they have been laundered. Glad you found it.

Ha Hahhhhhhh…you lucky dawg you ! Man, time flys…glad ya found it !

I totally understand. I lost my Xtar WK42, which was my absolute favorite edc light. I only had it 6 months and lost it while helping someone move. No matter how much i searched i couldn’t find it.

Thanks guys, yes, I was tickled for the rest of the afternoon!

I may have written this before but my brother lost his E11 hours after receiving it. He found his the same day. From now on I use the clip and it has stayed put. There’s a lesson in there somewhere.

Brian,

Glad you found your light. If the Manker is your absolute ‘go to’ light then get a second as a back-up.

Yes, I did that. That’s good advice. I have one clipped to my pocket 24/7, another next to me at the desk, and the found light in storage.

I bought the 2 replacements the day I lost the first one. They get used a few times per day, mostly late at night indoors so that I don’t need to flip on lights.

Cool Brian. Its like Christmas all over again. I lost a spyderco dragonfly under my car seat, re-found it 6-7 months later. Car seats are evil for EDC!!
