Is this the issue with fuses?

Can’t seem to find the troubleshooting section, so hope no one gets offended by posting my question.

I ordered an S2+ 7135*8 from Simon, for a small charge he was going flash the new biscotti firmware.
He didnt confirm if he did or not but I assume he did ship it with new firmware.

If I understand correctly old firmware has 3 or 5 modes.

As far as I could figure out \my S2+ has at least the 1st mode coresponding to the 1st mode of the biscotti choices

1. Moon-low-low2-middle-high-strobe-battery check

I cant seem to be able to switch to any other mode. I push 10 or 15 half presses and then
I only get 2 blinks with some other kind of blinky and the Moonlight.

If I shut it off with full click and on, then I get the same mode 1. Moon……Bat check

I was wondering if I am not doing the “half pressees fast enough in order to switch between modes.

I think Tom and TK were discussing that some drivers are over clocked with a fuse that causes similar mode switching issues.

Am I just too slow to operate the switch or is this a common issue ?

After 10 clicks

First buzz
Do a half press then it will blink one time for first mode group
2 times for 2.
And so on

2. buzz is to cycle memory on or off

Thanks and Happy New light year,

I have been playing with it for about 10 days and I think I finally got hold of it, need really fast fingers to change between modes,
