Where to buy batteries?

Just ordered 2 Keeppower 14500’s from “Banggood.com”. Anybody have any dealings with them?

Ordered a flashlight from them a month ago and paid extra for priority shipping which is supposed to take 7-12 business days. I still have not received it. Online tracking shows that it hasn’t even left China yet. :frowning:

If you live in the US, Banggood is probably the best choice. Fasttech and Gearbest have great prices, but shipping costs are exorbitant.

IMRbatteries surprised no one has said this. Cheapest us domestic prices blf15 gets you 15% off your order. Anything in the store. Cheap shipping. The cheapest shipping is like $3 usually what you save with the code usually covers shipping

add illumination supply (illumn)to the list.

Just did my first order with IMR. Ordered 2 30Q’s and surprised when they came in a 2-cell plastic case and included 2 extra cell wrappers. Good prices and fast shipping. I’ve also used Illum supply and Mtn Electronics, all good too :+1:

Since Chinese shipping prices have gone up and the shipping remains relatively slow, they’re not the bargain they once were IMHO, at last not for US residents. I’ll still buy cells from there if I’m ordering other stuff, but if it’s LiIons only it will be a US seller now.

My faves

illumination supply (illumn)
ME
Battery Junction (although standard shipping is slow depending on how far away you are)
Amazon (although their selection is limited)

Gearbest S/H fees for 26650 are outrageous to the USA so I avoid them. Bummers, I really wanted to try the Littokala 4-pack.
Bangood declined my 26650 order for unknown reasons.

I haven’t tried IMRBatteries but they have a very good reputation here too.

Just to clarify on the code for IMR batteries it IS case sensitive to get the 15% discount for BLF.

The Code is ……….BLF15…………no spacing and the letters must be capitals.
The code IS SITE WIDE and good on everything they have , including chargers and the misc. other items they carry.

I post this because I have had a few PM’s from members thinking the code did not work , but it was due to a space between the numbers and letters or not using capital letters. The code will stay permanent for the BLF forum as far as I know , other than being suspended when they have a large sale on most or all of the site , then the code will not work during the big sale only and will resume after the sale is done.

They are a very good company to deal with and the service is always top notch from all I have seen , even when I did a GB through them awhile back it went flawlessly.

The thread I started on the code / discount is HERE if anyone is interested in it.

IMR Batteries, yes!

Looks like Gearbest and Banggood are not shipping li-ion batteries anymore. At least to Finland.

Any recommended places without too high shipping costs?

I use Battery Junction.

That means about usd20 in shipping

Gearbest had very high shipping for a while after their original shipper caught them mislabeling their batteries. Now they appear to have a new shipper and prices have gone back down to being very reasonable. I just bought four of the 26650 liitokala cells for $20 and shipping with insurance was about $5.

If you’re in the US, and can find the particular batteries you want, then it’s always best to order from the US. I only ordered from overseas because I couldn’t find these particular batteries anywhere closer.

I buy all my batteries from this Ebay seller. From Florida to Nevada in three days from ordering. His feed back rating is high 99.8% and his battery selections and prices are hard to beat. http://stores.ebay.com/GenuineCells?\_trksid=p2047675.l2563

Gearbest now informs that shipping to Finland is not possible. Before, shipping was almost free.

Here is one more seller I buy from when the other does not have the batteries I need. I bought a set of IMREN 26650 and four sets of LG INR 18650 HG2 HIGH DRAIN 20A batteries from him. My X7 Marauder loves these batteries and at a much lower cost the the Olight batteries. As well, 3 days to get me the batteries from ordering and a 99.6% rating. Hope this helps you.

For batteries in Europe goto https://eu.nkon.nl

I buy batteries now from Aliexpress , free shipping

Last year I bought 4 Panasonic batteries from Gearbest and only received 3. Reason being, there was a hole in the bag and 1 fell out. Who knows what happened to that batteery, I just hope nobody got hurt. Since then I get mine from Mntelectronics. Richard has excellent packaging and fast shipping. It might cost a little more, but it’s more than worth it for the peace of mind.

https://liionwholesale.com/ for me. Battery prices are very reasonable and I usually receive my order in 2 to 3 days
