I’m not in but just throwing in my 2¢ worth: When doing some of my flashlight builds here, the most commonly requested color is a Safety-Orange, for visibility. That particular option seems to be pretty desirable, but under-represented in the flashlight market.
(Now, off to go troll the Desert-Tan thread for a while…)

Having been in the UK regularly, they seem to like Safety Yellow a lot over there, so perhaps this particular choice of colour is a European thing?

I do have safety orange and have sold a few, but it’s not fluorescent, just ‘bright/vivid’
This fluorescent yellow would be more like a hi-viz safety jacket

The more different S2+ the better. Still waiting on the sand colour one, as well as the clear ano to show up in Simon’s store.

I think the flourescent yellow is more of a European colour yes, orange tends tends to be more for ‘specialist’ roles.
I haven’t found a source for the fluorescent orange powder yet. Only the yellow.
But I’m more than happy to offer orange once I find the powder

What about GITD?
I think it’s possible, you can get GITD pigments for the powder

I guess you could mix glow powder with the clearcoat, but will that stand the heat of bakung the coating?

I think i would prefer fluorescent yellow with a slight greenish hue to it.
It’s just the ‘loudest’ fluo colour.

There is specific GITD pigment for powder coating that you mix with the colour coat.
There is no need for a clear coat with standard colours (only Chrome, Candy and Hydrographics need clear coats)
You can also get additives that sparkle and shimmer e.g. Black colour coat with orange sparkle additive

fluorescent with Glow in the dark powder.
Now we’re cooking with gas! Lets do it!!!
Is it reflective ? Or could a reflective component be added to the pigment ?
I’d be interested in a yellow or a yellow/GITD S2+.
You can add me to the list

I think a GITD, flourescent, reflective light might be a bit much :cowboy_hat_face:
Oh, with the SS metal button if that matters at this point.

Fluorescent, GITD, reflective please, and at that point it doesn’t matter anymore if it produces light at all

Do I even want to know how/why this thread got started?
As long as we’re wishlisting, I’d totally buy this if it existed:
Really though, it’s the blue/purple/red parts I like the most, not the orange/yellow/green bits.
However, by itself, a bright neon traffic-safety yellow reflective glow-in-the-dark coating could be fun. Maybe give it an amber LED or a 2200K ultra-warm to emulate sunlight at sunrise/sunset. Add a pocket chain and wear it with a yellow zoot suit.
