Hey everyone. I ordered some xhp50 emitters, and I was curious how many amps and volts the 6v version can take? I will be using the fx6 5amp driver, or direct drive off 2 18350’s. Whatdo you think? Thanks!

This is from my test a year ago. The led was tested outside a flashlight, well cooled and on a power supply. The led was reflowed on a direct thermal pad MCPCB, without a DTP board results are significantly worse. In the graph are also test of The XHP70 and MT-G2, although the XHP70 tested better later when using a better MCPCB.
Hey mate it depends on the overall set up. 5 amps isn’t that much for a XHP50. The smaller cells will limit current if you use direct drive.
