Android mAh measuring app

There are many many different android apps that measure the mAh’s your phone battery is receiving while being charged.
I tried : Ampere , Ampere Meter , AccuBattery and they all say something else.
With differences up to 500mAh!

What app do you recommend to use for measuring your charging speed precisely?

I’m currently using Ampere, and usually it agrees pretty closely with my USB current meter . Granted both app & meter were pretty cheap, so I can’t say which is more accurate!

I tried a ton and the only one that worked reliably and accurately was 3C Battery Monitor. It logs and graphs, has many other useful metrics, and the widget is actually useful and customizable.

I have always wondered how phone apps like this function in the first place….

Been using this one now too and I’m really impressed, it also reads very accurate.
You have to fiddle with it a bit, but it works great!

Thanks for the tip!

I have no complaints with Ampere. It seems to be accurate enough. BTW, I have the paid version

Update: Ampere stopped measuring current draw and charge when my Moto X Pure’s OS updated to 7.0 a few weeks ago. I mentioned it in my review, but the app designer never responded.

Been using Xiaomi’s own pre-installed security center app which also happens to include a battery monitor. I believe it is somewhat accurate.

3C Battery Monitor Widget FTW!

The app has a lot of options. Proper configuration matters.
