Do you know how long shipping to Germany takes normally, I ordered 2 XHP35 Hi on 8. Dez. and nothing received yet

LOVELY!! Thanks Rich!

Usually 1-3 weeks. You can check the tracking number you received along the way, although looking at the tracking your package has taken the long route there. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do to speed things up once the post has the package.

Hi,

do you still offer Qlite drivers with guppydrv V2 firmware? I need a driver with “Strobe only” but on your website only V1 is listed.

Regards

Kenjii

No. They were never offered with any other guppydrv than what you see listed.

Morning Richard. I sent a PM with a request. I apologies for the terrible timing. :person_facepalming:

I know it’s not quite the same, but guppydrv’s Group #9 is Strobe - 100%, no memory. If you used that, the light would come on in Strobe mode all the time, and could then also be used as a flashlight if needed.

I think i found what i searched for. An old FET driver has the option for guppydrv Rev. 2. I am going to order that one instead of the Qlite.

Richard, do you have an idea when you’ll get more 22ga silicone wire in stock? Your listing says you only have 3ft remaining, and I need more than that.

I've been sicker than a dog today , but when I get out there tonight I'll check and see if I have any extras laying around (I usually keep some extras in case I need some for drivers or lights!)

Thanks Richard. I hope you get to feeling much better soon! I was looking to buy about 10 feet. I need a couple lengths of 3 feet at a minimum. So, if you have even one more piece of 3 feet or more, plus what’s listed as three feet, I could do with that for now.

Richard - do you plan on getting more SupFire L5's? I see only 1 is available and it's modded. SupFire shows a 3rd generation of this light on their website now - shame because I like the 2nd gen you had better. They added a lit switch and USB charging - both popular now.

The SupFire L5 is only available very limited in retail, and rather pricey, and mostly listed as the gen 1.

Gen 1: better finishing with true flat anodizing, but the switch is so-so

Gen 2: went to an SRK style metal switch - I like much better, but the finish when to a plainer, cheaper look

Gen 3: changed switch once again with LED's behind it, added USB charging. Not sure of anodizing.

Here is Gen 3: http://www.supfireenglish.com/Products/led_flashlight/medium_flashlight/2016/1231/128.html

Here is Gen 2: http://www.supfireenglish.com/Products/led_flashlight/medium_flashlight/2014/0613/52.html

Not that you have a choice in the matter but I hope you get well soon. The most disgusting but effective treatment I can reccomend is a sinus rinse to flush out the bugs, yecch!

Just added some 22 awg wire.

I don't think so. Supfires slowed way down this past year---enough that I am not going to restock them except for maybe the M6.

Got it. Thanks!

Ahhh, ok - was afraid of that. SupFire doesn't keep up their designs - good/bad, good is they are over engineered, more metal, like the old days, bad is the tech of drivers, LED's, features, and the look slips behind.

In some cases they cheapened the design, like the L1, they dropped the SS bezel because of cost, in the case of the L5, probably went to a cheaper finish.

I don't think the finish on the 2nd Gen. L5 is really cheaper...it is a bit less rubbery and a bit more rosy, but really it has a similar feel (still a bit of a "soft" touch), and the switch design is really an upgrade (stronger and easier to piggyback!).

But, they have gone backwards on a few other lights and there are so many other options now in many of the categories that used to be sparse.

Any chance of a single sided 4 chip version of the moonlight special w/extra chips option and bistro? Lots on your plate I know but only FET drivers or boiler plate 3/4 chip drivers at present. I could order a separate flashed mcu, bend the pins, cut trace/jumper, and add chips but it’s a bit cob for gifts or customs. Kit form would be fine for starters.

So what you're asking is for a single sided 4x 7135 driver, then stack more chips on it to make it a 8x7135?
