In the EA series (4xAA), I am only aware of the EA45S (which I own and love), running XP-L HI.
The EC series (2x18650) are available with two different emitters; EC4S (XPH50) and EC4SW (MT-G2)
I am not aware of the EA45SW which should be 4xAA, but with what what emitter?

While I am very well acquainted with the EA45S, I have never heard of the EA45SW.
However, if it does exist; I would love to hear about it.

OK, your link is for the EC 4 SW. Totally different animal than the EA 45 S ……….
It is somewhat confusing to the eye though, for me anyway; when reading it.
An EA 45 SW does not exist.
Here is a link that is a “couple of bucks” cheaper if anyone does want a EC 4 SW.

The code in post #3 is a great one, but it appears it does not apply to the USA. 
You might want to check with ‘M4D M4X’ to see if he happens to have a current code for one.
Otherwise, you better jump on that eBay deal. :+1:

No such luck. And Gearbest is currently not shipping this to the US.

to anyone still seeking the Nitecore EA45S, I just happened to see that MassDrop has one for $52.99 plus shipping for the next four days
not nearly so good a deal as back when, but if you just gotta have one…
Massdrop is a conundrum, though, because previously there was a cancelled drop
( with refunds issued from what I can tell) for this light.
I have noticed new drops—but when members post asking if it will actually
occur—crickets.
The light is discontinued.

yes, I realize it’s been nearly a year since last post on this thread, but I just saw the EA45s on ILLUMN website while perusing their black friday (and other) specials. I have been kinda out of touch, so I don’t know if these are as hard to find as they were a while ago, but, if someone is still looking for a deal on a very nice 4xAA light that puts out a purported 1000 lumens…. here it is:

The EA 45S is my favorite Nitecores, as well as one of my favorite lights…… period. 
I have several of them in fact….

I confess that I, too, own more than one - “just in case” you know….
I find it to be a nearly perfect light. And, if I am away from civilization (my lithium cells and charger) I can find AA cells literally ANYWHERE and can reload at will if needed.
Yep, definitely a great light. I love mine and have given several as gifts.
Now if we can only get a blowout on the EC4S or EC4SW.
