[GB ended,discussion only] CRI > 80+ NICHIA 2000K-6500K [E21A/219B/219C/319A/144A/757GT-F1(Optisolis)]

Update 170124, 17:56 GMT +8:

Pictures and beamshots added!

319A can physically fits all optics designed for 219C. Check my OP for side view comparison pics. Beam shapes is another story thoughā€¦.
Not yet tested

Iā€™m not sure how that influences the bin nr exactly, apart from that comparison is not one to one, but I will wait for your test

Iā€™ll take please:

6 x NVSL219CT SM403 [4000K]

Thanks a lot!

That means if itā€™s tested at 700mA like 219C the output is comparable to D320. I checked the datasheet.
I will only do the beamshot test with whatever optics I have in hand. You do the usual Djozz STD (killing) test.

Clemence, again going above and beyond with those beamshots!
Very helpful in getting a perspective on these tints.
The 219B V1 9080 looking good amongst the rest.

Pics of the labels and 319A comparison are also much appreciated. :+1:

@chouster

shipping option #3 please

My boss really hate me todayā€¦.
Came late, unfocus, and went home earlier.

I see, thanks for clarifying.
That implies that 319 performance may be similar to 219, but who knows what happens at high currents, it may be more robust or maintains output better because of the slightly bigger die. At least then I count on beautiful beam profiles!

Sorry about that, what all are you wanting? I see I have you down for the 2700k 219c, I might have put your name in the wrong LED by mistake.

Everyone please check your orders after I update the lists to make sure I have them right.

I put you down for 5 but if we do not have enough whoever is at the bottom of the list will sadly have to wait until next time.

Done

Got it

I am pretty sure the 219B are sold out but I put you down anyways. When the offical inventory count is done those at the bottom of the list will sadly have to wait until next time, I added you for the 219C though.

Everyone please double check your orders after I update the lists, I am busy in the ā€œreal worldā€ and donā€™t have a lot of time to keep up with this thread.

If you spot a mistake please let me know.

@chouster
If available:

3x NVWL219CT SM573
2x NVSL319ATE SM505
2x NVSW319ATE SM655

Thanks!

So if Iā€™m understanding correctly these are not the last of the 219b-v1 sw45k? That was the speculation in the last discussion thread, that these may be discontinued and the last of the breed.

If thatā€™s not the case and more can be bought later, then its a no-brainer: cut my 219b-v1 count from 10 to 4 so that others can get in this round. Iā€™ll get more later.

If that is still the case, last of the 219b sw45kā€™s right here, then still cut me but Iā€™d really like to keep 6ā€¦

Yes and no. I called Nichia today.
From now on, every 219B-V1 9080 will be produced in much less quantity. Could be stopped when thereā€™s no demand. Large order must be planned ahead.
For small order quantity we have to rely on whatā€™s left in Nichiaā€™s stock. I asked him for future larger order and he couldnā€™t gave me any answer in availability. 500 pcs ā€œshouldā€ be there but more than that then he have to check to JPN.
And FYI, weā€™re very lucky to get such D220 bin. Even those 9050 219C maxed in only D240

Thanks for the clarification. So its a gamble; got it. Iā€™m not really a betting man  So I guess letā€™s split the difference ā€” let me keep 5 of them but turn the other 5 back loose to the group so others can get it, if thatā€™s okay.

TA,
I checked the update and see you put me in for 3 of the sm303 (3000K.) by mistake.

Please alter it to 3 x sm353 (3500K.).

Thanks again.

Chouster, Iā€™d like 5 NVSL219CT SM403 [4000K 3 steps MacAdams].

Iā€™m new to group buys in here. Should I also PM chouster with my order to ask about payment?

Iā€™ll add you.

No, guys, please donā€™t write me PM at this point. Will contact you.

Perfect, thank you.

The people here at BLF seem to really stick together, the group buys and projects are amazing. Thanks for the effort.

Very good, thank you.
