That means if it’s tested at 700mA like 219C the output is comparable to D320. I checked the datasheet.
I will only do the beamshot test with whatever optics I have in hand. You do the usual Djozz STD (killing) test.
Clemence, again going above and beyond with those beamshots!
Very helpful in getting a perspective on these tints.
The 219B V1 9080 looking good amongst the rest.
Pics of the labels and 319A comparison are also much appreciated. :+1:
I see, thanks for clarifying.
That implies that 319 performance may be similar to 219, but who knows what happens at high currents, it may be more robust or maintains output better because of the slightly bigger die. At least then I count on beautiful beam profiles!
Sorry about that, what all are you wanting? I see I have you down for the 2700k 219c, I might have put your name in the wrong LED by mistake.
Everyone please check your orders after I update the lists to make sure I have them right.
I put you down for 5 but if we do not have enough whoever is at the bottom of the list will sadly have to wait until next time.

Done
Got it
I am pretty sure the 219B are sold out but I put you down anyways. When the offical inventory count is done those at the bottom of the list will sadly have to wait until next time, I added you for the 219C though.
Everyone please double check your orders after I update the lists, I am busy in the “real world” and don’t have a lot of time to keep up with this thread.
So if I’m understanding correctly these are not the last of the 219b-v1 sw45k? That was the speculation in the last discussion thread, that these may be discontinued and the last of the breed.
If that’s not the case and more can be bought later, then its a no-brainer: cut my 219b-v1 count from 10 to 4 so that others can get in this round. I’ll get more later.
If that is still the case, last of the 219b sw45k’s right here, then still cut me but I’d really like to keep 6…
Yes and no. I called Nichia today.
From now on, every 219B-V1 9080 will be produced in much less quantity. Could be stopped when there’s no demand. Large order must be planned ahead.
For small order quantity we have to rely on what’s left in Nichia’s stock. I asked him for future larger order and he couldn’t gave me any answer in availability. 500 pcs “should” be there but more than that then he have to check to JPN.
And FYI, we’re very lucky to get such D220 bin. Even those 9050 219C maxed in only D240
Thanks for the clarification. So its a gamble; got it. I’m not really a betting man So I guess let’s split the difference — let me keep 5 of them but turn the other 5 back loose to the group so others can get it, if that’s okay.
I went ahead and left you at 6 of them, if someone really needs one later we can always take it off then. So there are 4 more available then planned but clemence will still need to do a final inventory on what is left later. At which point someone will have to sort through and figure who it is that is next in line lol.
Sorry, but I don’t want to offer that service since there’s always a small risk involved and I simply don’t have the time to reflow a bunch of LEDs if more people would request that.
I’m with you on that, I did offer that service on the previous batch and it was way more effort than I had anticipated, quite different from reflowing a led now and then for own use.
