I only made that request recently this morning, and I knew stock was low so I’m not upset at all if they were already claimed - even if it was a mistake. This thread is kind of chaotic and I don’t envy the list keepers trying to keep it all straight.
If you have a use for them, please keep them - those two don’t have a dedicated light to go into yet, they are just for future “what if” use. I think you will likely put them to good use before I would.
Hey Everyone, I got some 4000k and 5000k 219Cs. I’m planning on replacing the blueish leds from a few otherwise decent **fire lights. So I don’t cringe everytime I turn them on.
I’m wondering what you’re planning on doing with your chosen tint and why?
Just like the other day, I purchased these LEDs not only for BLF. I have other projects and customers too.
Otherwise I would not be able to order such a limited quantity. I included these together with someone else’s order.
3000K for outdoor/garden/bed room, 4000K headlamp for outdoor hiking, 5700K for office/workshop.
After this 9050, even CRI 80 is not good enough anymore. You should try them in the kitchen! Everything looks more delicious
These LED’s have 100% spoiled me, I was tint aware before these but I think I can officially say that after these I am a tint snob.
Colors just don’t look the same in 80 cri but I can force myself to accept them. 70cri is almost painful except for monster powered lights where your eyes hurt from all the light anyways lol.
@clemence, lighting up a meal with HCRI is always fun, I think it might even taste more delicious.
@Texas Ace, tint snob Lol. Is it really bad to want light similar to our sunlight.
Now when you get tired of the 90+ CRI and start craving 200-300CRI then we can talk snobbery.
@Gunga, 90% is impressive, it’s good to have at least one light not HCRI in our collection to put things in perspective.
Yeah I have to admit I’m really starting to dig these Nichias too! For personal EDC lights they can’t be beat, Ive gone as warm as 5000k and now 4500k’s and I’m liking them alot, so much so I’m starting to dislike 5700k’s,
I must be getting…. :person_facepalming:
