LR, yes already did that but for some reason the problem remains (click only registers at certain angle). Tried trimming the switch boot too but didn’t help and now a bit too thin…
Ah, that stinks! You may have a defective switch then. How does the switch work without the boot? Is it the same issue if you use a pencil eraser to poke at the smd switch button?
You could try to diy a fix if you felt like it. You could cut a small disk out of plastic the size of the switch opening. On the back of the disk, glue a small nub in the center. Kind of like a mini spinning top. Then whatever way you press on the boot it presses down on the disk and the nub always presses directly on the button. Idk if it would work or not? Just an idea that popped into my limited brain space.
I also got one with faulty switch. I tried the trick with removing the cover and centering but it did not help. Even with the cover removed and pushing the micro switch directly it acts very badly. There is nice clicking sound but the switch is not working.
I’ve got one be here in couple days. Hope switch Gods are on my
side.
BTW: Mine shipped Int Bridge. It arrived in US, of all places,…HUNTSVILLE ALABAMA ! I looked it up. There’s an International Airport there.
Never had a shipment from China enter the country this way. ALL packages last 5 yrs+ have entered from San Francisco, Chicago, and NY. First time for everything they say.
No, i think the MI7 is brighter.
But i almost immediately put a Nichia 219C 3500K and a TIR optic in the UT01, so i lost some lumens with the LED swap.
(but gained a very pleasant tint )
GeeSuS Christ….been in Alabama for over 2 weeks now for all I know and not one update to tracking. International Bridege gets the SUCK AWARD! WTH ! Looks like I will have to request NO IB SHIPPING from GearBest in the future. This is the second time this crap has happened……no more in future…Shame on IB !!
Why is anybody of the belief (which has probably been offered previously) that ANY “tracking” originating from (???) is not only legitimate but connected to a package that was actually ever sent?
When you’re already forced to wait 60 days before somebody will quit sending the same old tired answer to simply switch to another demand asking that you send even more money…why in the world would one believe that any package was even sent in the first place?
Again, a “tracking number” from “who” owned and/or controlled by or in cahoots with “who” with a longstanding record of “what” ???
