Review request for HKJ [Rechargeable Batteries]

LG has two 20650 cells that I am aware of, but I have not seen them for sale to the public:

model M42: 15A and 4200mAh
model HG6: 20A and 3000mAh

I do not have any opinion yet, the data is still on the test station and I have not looked at it.

I am interested in testing them, if anybody see them in a shop that ships to EU, please post a link.

With regards to those Trustfire IMR14500 cells, good value for the money. Measured 80 & 82mΩ internal resistance for my units, which translates into up to ≈5A discharge rate.

Oh! By the way, HKJ, soldered a USB micro-B connector this evening. Measured resistance between the wire lines is ≈2.5MΩ, so I am wondering if this could be an issue, data wise of course. Damn…
Self-answering my previous question: data transmission issues. :|

By the way:

Sanyo 20700A 30A 3100mAh 20700 Bench Test Results...a great performing 30A 3100mAh battery! @Mooch/ECF

On another note, the popular LiitoKala 26650A/B is still “untested”.

Cheers ^:)

Thanks for the info Barkuti.

Sorry djozz, late to the party… I have already re-built my Ti/Cu EDC Quad 219C to take the new Efest 18500 1000mAh cell, it now delivers much better output with the slightly higher capacity and discharge rate. (219C emitters, x4, ran some 2600 lumens on an 18350 but now makes 3400 lumens with the 18500. )

And I’m in the process of building a 2 Cell 20700 light with a 3 pound chunk of Tellurium Copper for the pill that will run 3 of the new XHP-50.2 emitters. The goal is in excess of 10,000 lumens, we’ll see. Gotta find some 20700A’s if not the C’s… Just yesterday I spent 5 hours on the lathe and the light is taking shape. The tube is bored, knurled, threaded to fit into the copper pill, which has the driver bay ready and is mated at the top with the adaptive piece the bezel will thread onto. I have to wait now on the 63.7mm x 29.5mm triple reflector so I can finish the light. The 3 XHP-50.2’s are also coming…. it currently weighs 1442 grams, but will lose some weight with the inset of reflector and tapering/finning process.

The B cell does ok, I bored the tube of an older C8 that has ryansoh’s copper pill and the new XP-L2 emitter. With a Sony VTC6 I get slightly over 2000 lumens on this light, but with the new 20700B it “only” makes 1704 lumens. Can’t wait to see what the A cell does, when they become available again.

Thanks Heinrich, appreciate your review on these new cells and like you, am anxiously awaiting the new variant…

The only 21700 cell I have seen available for purchase (albeit with a 25pc minimum, from a company in Israel) is the Samsung INR21700-30T. Supposedly 30A (maybe 35A) and 3750mAh.

Can you please test these batteries.

I have put in an order for enelong

Hi, thanks for your OUTSTANDING work!

Could you consider to test the Soshine 10440 and 14500 batteries as they seems to be quite popular in chinese online shops.

I have tested the 14500 and will post a review in the near future.

I have ordered the 10440.

It is a good time to ask for battery reviews, my queue is fairly limited at the current time (Remember links to shops where I can buy them).

A new 18350 cell seems to have great capacity and performance. The Aspire 18350.

Apparently can be bought here.

I would like to test them, but shipping €9.50 is a bit high.

Please let me know too if someone is selling the Aspire 18350s with reasonable shipping costs.

Ok great and thank you! I really appreciate your continued support and look forward to see the test results.

I know it is pretty hard to come by, but I would be interested in seeing these batteries tested:
Powerex Pro 2700 (these are new) and I believe are just Panasonic 2700 (2550mAh min)

https://www.amazon.com/Powerex-Capacity-Rechargeable-Batteries-2700mAh/dp/B06X9F27GV/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1492288632&sr=8-2&keywords=powerex+pro

Would be nice if someone would be willing to ship them to you.

I think their “Aspirations” are too high!!!

“Seems” is the key word!! 1300mAh?? Very doubtful. My educated guess is that this is an overrated piece of,!

I am disappointed in my Bloodline country for promoting this! I could be wrong, have been before,But I do not think so in this instance!

I don’t blame you for being suspicious, but there are multiple reports in the other thread I linked of capacity around 1130mAh, and internal resistance as low as the best available 18350 cells.

Aspire 18350 test is possibile to be found in dampfakkus and mooch.

Me too have measured only the capacity in the first run and has 60% more than efest imr 700. So if Aspire a piece of ##### the Efest should be worse.

In an Astrolux S41 I got 5 Amps from Efest and 4.7 Amps from Aspire. So a little difference looking currents.

I have both the AW and the KP 18350. So far they are rated in the Top 3 by mooch.

Top Three Performers

AWT Yellow 10.5A 800mAh
Keeppower 8A 750mAh
AW Red 12A 800mAh (button top)

Most of my lights and My 2 X 18350 lights are modded. High current is more important to me that additional run time.I just pop a fresh cell in when necessary!
