Oooh that looks nice!
Very Nice!
If they had that as solution/option I would have one of those as well, just got my very “cute” ti and that got drafted by my wife for handbag duty

That’s really neat! I’ve just been using the Ti tailcap on the Cu Tool, but your solution is much more elegant. Finally a use for my misshipped Cree Ti Tool, thanks!
That is a cool switch, but my understanding is that the UI is the same whether you use the e-switch or regular clicky switch, so are there any practical advantages to using the e-switch?
Yep, the UI is in the driver, but I at least prefer the sharp clicky feel of the Ti switch. Plus it of course enables tail standing.
Absolutely right :+1:
I do like that e-switch on the Tool Ti better. I’ll have to keep this mod in mind
Today I grind the top of the tailcap a little bit more and smoothing the edges. Feels more comfortable now when you use the switch and works better with a thick thumb
This is what I used for the grind work with 80 and later 600 sandpaper.
Does it have a tiny button cell battery or am i mistaking?
Yes, the e-switch has a little battery or capacitor build in.
Much better :+1:
It is not a battery but a capacitor.
I use the copper switch on the Ti.
And again, today I grind the top of the tailcap a little bit more and smoothing the edges again. Now its perfect
And……perfect tailstand.
Well done! :+1:
Looks great!
I do wonder if the manufacturer themselves understand what a attractive option the copper version would be modified like this?
If it was sold like this I would have bought it already
Or a lamp with a conversion kit if there was one, not to fond of the original switch implementation on the non ti’s.

Woow, hi there… compliments and congrats  !!
For exactly same purpose i ordered several myself
That brings me to ask: is there a thread about negativ ordering experiences somewhere?
Clearly your mod should be the standard :+1:
Thanks for sharing the process of your improvements
and for illustrative pics
Amazing :exclamation:
Sub’ed.
Will do this hack after I got another switch
But where does one get another switch?
Yes. Looks awesome!
