How do I get the Liitokala 26650 $4.99 flash sale price?

if you click on the banner (a few posts above) for the battery flash sale, on that web page listing all the batteries on flash sale, the Liitokala 26650 at $4.99 is noted as “0 pieces left” and “DEAL ENDED” as are a few others, but lots of batteries still on sale for another 14 hours 10 minutes (I saw this at about 8:50 Eastern US time) - which would mean it ends on the 20th, just that the Liitokala 26650 supplies had been depleted.

Wondering, seems the coupons only works for specific or only 1 item.

The driver’s got the rather annoying 5-modes but it looks like a regular 105C, so I’ll try shorting the last star to get rid of the blinkies. Else, I got plenty of other drivers I can stuff in there and use it as a rather nice host.

Solid Al reflector, decent triangular threads, cap + battery tube + driver section + front bezel + trim-ring.
The host seems solid, but again, need to ddx the switch, driver, etc., to see what’s going mental.
This might be a return, because of the 3 I bought, 2 seem “complete” with lanyard and that plastic on the front lens, but this was missing the lanyard and the plastic. That kinda sucks. Wasn’t gonna p&m about it, but if there’s something going on with the light itself, well…
The driver is held in there with a retaining ring. Will have to see what’s the culprit, rule out one thing after another, etc.
As a host, it’s pretty nice.
The star isn’t glued in, thank B’Harni, but there’s no compound in there at all, just dry contact.
Even with the spacer / centering ring, it’s a pretty tight beam… when it works. 
No microscope, so can’t tell if it’s a good knockoff or real Cree.

Does it pay to bitch’n’moan to GB about it? Not sure what they’d do. On Amazon, a seller would offer to just throw a few bux at me to make me go away, but not sure if I’d have to ship it back to GB or go jump through any other hoops.

Thanks for the update. The random strobing sounds like a bad earth. Could be the battery tube threads, driver not earthed or somewhere in the tailcap.

Remove the tailcap, crowbar the (-) end of the cell to the tube, lights perfectly. Tailcap back on, flicker, etc.
Swap tailcaps from another F13 (bought 3), works perfectly.
