[GB ended,discussion only] CRI > 80+ NICHIA 2000K-6500K [E21A/219B/219C/319A/144A/757GT-F1(Optisolis)]

Haha, no, I don’t pet them. Those are fire salamanders. Two years ago, I went for a walk and stumbled upon them. There were lots of them, so I decided to come back with a cam the next day. There were brown fallen leaves everywhere and so many of these little guys that I really feared to step on one. They were much easier to spot with my Solarforce L2T that had a nice high-CRI Nichia in it. I had three or four lights with me, but only used that one high-CRI I had. I’ve been obsessed with high CRI lights before, but that occasion really proved the benefits to me.

nice pictures thanks ,…
amazing hcri there man!.
i like cool white for the wow, but i feel it wont last so long.
in real life use i’ll regret not using hcri.

i will be using the 4500k 9080 for a triple build in an s2+
it was these or xpl hi v2 5a CW.
many suggested stay with the nichia 4500 9080.
i will try this.
i have a reylight cu tool 4500.

Depending on price I would be interested in some high cri cob LEDs, But if I understood correctly you don’t sell em right?

No at the moment

IDK if they exist but maybe some amber nichia’s if other members are interested in them. I know sometime ago a member was looking for amber LEDs to put into flash lights for people with a sleeping disorder or something, can’t quite remember the reason.

…Yes, interested in amber, UV, 219B sw57……and any available 9080s

Will ask my fellow Nichia users if they have some extras. I’m not really sure to purchase this one

9080 will definitely in my next purchase plan. Still thinking about the NVSU233-D1 though…crazy expensive. :expressionless:

I got the LED’s in yesterday, packing them up today.

Yay!

Cree just released the CXA2 COB-leds with improved output, these come also in 90CRI and some are just 9V, with some creativity you can fit them in a flashlight.

Ha know of a place where I can get em that is trustworthy? I would not use em in an FL and I would run them from a 12V battery with abuck convertor.

ok, 3 hours of dropping, picking up, sorting, packing and printing labels later I have them all ready to ship out! I will either drop them off at the post office later today or tomorrow.

That was SUPER quick turn around! I already got my tracking info.

When I ordered them, I thought I’d just buy a few more than I needed here, and maybe one of that tint there… this should last me a while…

Famous last words. I’ve already got a home planned for nearly all of them (seriously, I have a spreadsheet).

I’ll definitely place another order if clemence runs another group buy like this.

Thanks Tex =)
Chouster also received the package today.

I’ll get you an even faster delivery time for the next group buy

Thanks for your time and effort!!

I hope to run an output test on the 319A and maybe even the 219B tomorrow to see how they match up. Very curious how they come out.

Really looking forward to those 319A tests, especially to see how they perform compared to an XP-L.

Wow! Thanks so much for the quick turnaround! Looking forward to the tests.

Thanks ma brother Texas ace !
