EAGLE EYE X9 XHP70LED inside Hard Light flashlight 26650/18650 3800LM

 :+1:

Maybe they’ll be nice to me at Shenzhen Jin Lang Electronic Technology and give me a nice low low serial number, like an 003 or an 007 or something, then I’ll have to preserve it’s preferred status and leave it original.

You might as well order another to chop up. You know you will.

I believe they have already sold over 30pcs since last month?

Nice packaging by the way.

Dear flashlight manufacturers, please stop making lights where single-clicks change between normal modes and double-clicks activate strobe. Trying to cycle through modes and getting strobe by mistake is just about the worst thing ever.

freeme, that sometimes means very little, I have lucked into a very low serial number before on a light that was out of production for over two years. Sometimes the first ones go on the shelves and they stay there collecting dust…

thanks!

stainless steel

It is I who thanks you! I have been searching through tens of dozens of lights and almost bought several, but something made me hold back. Then this one pops up and I have been waiting for a new Eagle Eye for quite some time… if you noticed I didn’t hesitate at all! lol

I’d love to see a larger version of the X6, maybe with the 20700 cell or a 26650. Something around 50-65mm in the head but the same profile/design as the X6. If you were to do that, I’d be on it like a chicken on a june bug.

haha,I will try!

I’m about to purchase one of these beauties. Please recommend 2 x 26650 batteries for the X9 from AliExpress website.

Many Thanks.

very nice :+1:

Two things:

  1. I saw X9 and thought maybe it was a larger brother to the X6 and got excited. Then came here and was massively disappointed!
  2. This thread belongs in the Commercial Sellers’ Area. No offense. Just please move it.

+1 could be the eagle eye x8, 26650 big brother of the x6 with a large head. Massive thrower. I would get a few over time as my meager budget allows to put different LEDs in

Is this your taobao site?!

I really like the looks of this one. It’s also great all functions are controlled by the side switch. I’ll be placing an order for one with the warmer tint. Great find!

This model has a smaller diameter head than the L6 and is a lot lighter in weight. Great for carrying, but maybe not for high powered mods. I’m guessing there is a lot less mass in the head.

Then again, I’m sure you’ll find a way to mod it. Maybe add a copper disc or something.

Jim, you are missing a trick with the X6 shape imho. That was and still is a very popular flashlight. As I suggested to you before via pm, if you can upscale the same shape as the X6 with a more powerful led, you will be on to a winner once again.
It’s clear to be seen on this forum alone how popular the X6 is.

I was on the team for the group buy with the X6 when it first came out. I tested it, hard, even tossed it out the window of the car at 60mph and video’d it skittering down the road. The damage was negligible, the light still worked. Seems like we had some 1200 lights or maybe more, in that group buy.
I’ve built some 35-40 X6’s, have 11 here even now. It’s just a personal favorite, very nicely made light that allows itself to all sorts of modification. I was the first to build a triple with the CUTE-3, a quad with the CUTE-4, and the results enticed many many more to do the same. I still think the Triple X6 is my favorite light of them all, and this is with some 400 builds behind me.
