It’s been some time since I have raised any money for Justin/Val. I did have plans to sell off some OL knives with additional items but I was/am waiting on some stuff to be delivered. It is one of the main reasons for the delay. I’m in dispute with the vendor I purchased the additional items from. I have felt a little guilty for not being as proactive since Justin’s passing but here is something for the meantime.
For those that are not familiar – the funds for this will go to Old-Lumens (now Mrs Old-Lumens). Please read this thread for more info.

PRIZES
Light 1
SRK with photography lens hoods and KD 86mm reflector. I think it’s an xpg-2 led not sure exactly, come to think of it, it might not be. I’ve had this host for a few years. Fitted a copper shelf before I had a lathe. Then when I did get the lathe I think I was cutting in a recess for the led star in the shelf and it slipped in the lathe jaws so it has scratches on the head. The lux is not high, from memory I measured 350kcd. I’m no longer interested in tweaking it, honestly I’m not sorry to see this one go. UI is high-low STAR firmware
Light 2
Multifunction bikelight. I machined copper pills and fitted xpl hi leds and LD1 drivers. Yes 2 drivers, one each side, as a result it can be a PITA installing the batteries. I’ll try explain why – the drivers work independently of each other. They share the (-) and the mom switch but not the (+). The drivers work with both tail and side switches so when installing the batteries the driver in front of the cell activates (turns on). When installing the second battery it is important to leave the first side on AND make sure they are in the same mode when the tail is screwed on. Fumbling the tail cap can change the mode of that driver. Once installed and the drivers are in the same mode it generally stays that way. I have intentionally clicked the button quickly to see if they go out of sequence and yes they do. In general use I haven’t had a problem though. Roughly 5000k tint. This one also has a scratch near the switch.
Light 3
DQG with 4p xhp-35. Driver has turbo resistor bridged. I think the driver strains a bit to boost up to xhp-35 levels of voltage because in mid mode it seems to have a dim flicker. It’s not terrible but noticeable. I didn’t notice it in other modes. Tint is around 4000k. Probably has scratches on it somewhere…
Light 4
uf-2100 body with 502b head and sportac triple P60. I like the shape of this thing. I had intentions to change out the driver but never got to it.
Light 5
Supfire L5 with xhp-70 and fet driver. high-mid-low on STAR firmware. Frosted reflector and I haven’t centred the led exactly to try and reduce the donut hole. In outside use the hole is hardly noticeable but you’ll see it white wall hunting. Runs on 2× 26350 cells. I realize not everyone has these cells so I’ll check what Auspost’s restrictions are for sending batteries nowadays and try to include them in the package.

Low numbers DO sometimes win! In my 1000 post GAW, the FIRST post won!
Edit: How do you pick the order of the winners? Does the first Random.org winner get first choice and so on?
Reason is not automatic. Those who deny it cannot be conquered by it. Do not count on them. Leave them alone.

Ooh yeah five winners, better get some more tickets then, off to Paypal for another $5 payment
Rooting for 11-14 as at least one winner!!!!

Thanks for doing this, really good idea.
I had taken a hiatus from BLF and was unaware until this week that Justin had passed. Truly saddened by the news.

Low number is fine for me. Going over to PP $5 right now. Do we make 2 posts if we buy 2 tickets?
Knix the above. I will have to join tonight. Apparently PP doesn't like the firewall here.
David – that’ll be more correspondence. I’ll keep it simple, winner one gets light one and so on.
Wheelie man – posts are irrelevant, it’s how many tickets you pay for.

I love poppin wheelies. Thank you for doing this for Mrs Lumens. $5 PP sent.
Just so y’all know the KD reflector that is in that SRK is the same reflector that is found in the Eagletac M25C2 Turbo and I modded one of those with a dedomed XM-L2 U4 1A that threw 636,763 cd which is 1,595 meters…I’m sure that light can be modded to do better with a dedomed XP-G2…so if you win it…direct drive that sucker.
$5 pp sent. Great idea for the Mrs.
like my odds here
but it is not about that so a bump to lower the chances of me winning!

That SRK mod is awesome.
Makes me think the how the BLF GT could (have) be(en) based on the BLF Q8.
Is there a topic about that mod?
..waiting for parts..
Still looking for 5” parabolic reflector (for recoil light)
paid
thanks for doing this
$5 Sent – what a great idea. Thanks for doing this!
