Good news - received 2 of my 4 gearbest orders:

Still waiting on the other two. So to summarize:
2/13 - tracking number says arrived in USA on 2/23, no updates since
2/16 - received on 3/18
2/21 - received on 3/18
2/25 - still waiting, no tracking info available

That’s encouraging news for sure.

My missing order was placed on February 13th and the tracking number says that it arrived in the US on February 23rd. No further updates for my package either. USPS has no record of the tracking number. I am guessing that our packages are in the same place.

Seeing as it has been 32 days I opened a service ticket at GearBest. To be fair this is the first time I have had a problem I normally get my packages from them in 15-18 days; including packages from Malaysia.

How do you like the Utorch? I have two Efest 14500’s charged and waiting.

@HorizontalHunter I hope yours shows up soon. I don’t have any 14500s, so I’ve only tried the Utorch with an Eneloop so far. I love it and don’t have any of the button issues anyone else reported. Best AA light I own!

And a question - I’m trying to place another order from Gearbest with the shipping option recommended here, but even when I select it on the item page when I check out my total is the pre-shipping total. Then the Paypal approval page is only for the subtotal amount. How are you guys paying for the upgraded shipping?

OK, here goes……

  • 1. Add item to cart.
  • 2. Go to Cart in upper right of page and click on View Cart
  • 3. Put in Promotion Code & click apply to see if it changes anything.
  • 4. Then click “Proceed To Checkout”
  • 5. Then scroll down to “Available Shipping Methods”. I pick “Priority Line” and this time the only choice was “USA Express” and it picked it for me.
  • 6. Then scroll down to “GB Points” and add them if you have any to add.
  • 7. Choose payment method
  • 8. Review order & shipping info
  • 9. Add special instructions if you have any
  • 10. Click “Place Your Order” . you will be taken to a payment screen then

So “checkout with paypal” doesnt appear to offer the option.

Whereas “checkout” and then selecting “paypal” as the payment method works.
