Solarforce L2C ( Carbon Host )

I never really wanted another P60 host ( I have a few ) , but then a month or so ago I felt the need to visit the Solarforce store and ……. I have always coveted the L2C so when I saw the price I just had to drop some Ozzi banana on the L2C ..

It really is well made
Fit and finish is excellent
Forward clicky with a flush clicky button / rubber boot ( still easy to use )
The fits ( Head / tailcap ) are excellent
The execution of the carbon is also excellent

I don’t have a drop in for it at the moment , might have to get a XP_L for it , I like the XP_L …

The body is very smooth , and it does feel like your holding something made from carbon fiber .. ( Carbon has a distinctive feel to it )
As well the body feels a little warmer than a regular L2 , perhaps absorbing body heat faster .
Hmmmm , wonder if it will dissipate heat as well as it is absorbed ?

Always remember , the easiest thing in the world to do , is to expel hot air from your lungs and through some vocal chords ..
The resulting sound may , or may not be worth listening too ….

Good pics as usual. I like them except for the fact that they will not tail stand. Build a triple or quad for it. I am waiting for the next round of the 9080 219B’s to do the same for mine.

EDC rotation:
FW1A, LH351D 4000k (second favorite)
FW3A, LH351D 3500k
FW3A, SST20 FD2 4000k
FW3A, Nichia 4000k sw40 r9080 (favorite light!)
FW3A, Cree XP-L Hi 5A3
Emisar D4V2, SST20 4000k
S2+, XM-L2 T6 4C

No , wont tailstand …
Unless you get a tailstanding tailcap …
I dont buy L2 to tailstand , Though the L2P will tailstand ( At least the ones I have )

Hmmmm , triple XP_L …

I am so tempted to buy a lathe , but that would be an expensive triple drop in …

I already went shopping @ KD , got a XP_L V5 and a Cree XT-E R5 …

Hmmm , need some thermal epoxy !
