Weâve done some computation on that matter and these were rather promising. More data to follow as soon as we have the first prototypes. However, it should be clear that you canât expect a light of that size with that output to be stable on turbo for extended periodsâŚ
Ah yes, a space for a 6mm x 1.5mm trit in the tail would be nice, preferably in the switch but also maybe done as a keyring attachment point so theres an option.
Just a thought.
With triple channel and the high lumens the chosen LEDs give it would run too hot to handle on turbo yet should be able to give nice output for a longer period on lower modes, its Narsil so a perfect brightness is easy to set
Just look at the sizes here:
Not a lot of room for cut outs for Fritz trits
The switch assembly will have a rubber dome beneath the metal switch to press to insure the best waterproofing. I see modders having a go at adapting that for a trit if they want to.
This project came along at just the right time. I have been pondering a triple and was either going with the Astrolux s41 or a Jaxman E2L, but this one with Narsil and the machinistâs touch looks to be an even better choice. Iâm excited about this.
Yes Cawi, fully aware⌠I built the first X5 Quad at over 3000 lumens. (How do I know it was the first? Because it was done on a prototype. ) Also built the first Triple and Quad X6. Something about a small high powered lightâŚ
My MecArmy PT16 is making 3400 lumens as a quad. Ramping. Just Gotta Love It! lol
