So xiaomi in my country begin asking customers to reture xiaomi powerbank 10000mah(the one has low price and Quick charge), for checking
So, it must be something wrong with it
Many people reported it fried their IC charge manager in their non-quick charge phones
Yup, that one
The news was posted on a website written in our language, not sure if you guy can read it
And the return is applied(i guess) only on my country(VietNam)
I must admit I do not really like how all this “charging” protocols stuff is going. Again, a crapload of independently developed charging power management intellectual property to continue filing patents and make people believe in whatever respective sort of cooked bunch of lies, selling the same dog with a flashier collar again. Nearly don't give a sh1te.
Where can I buy an Android device with a slot or two for 18650s?
yeah, i just did before posting. Just read a couple of their PDF, everything is well specified IMHO, also cable losses, and parasitic losses, from what i understand
Everything may be well specified, but that do not make it less complicated. Here I am talking about the new PD specification for USB-C where you need a microprocessor in the cable and in both ends of the connection for the high power settings. This specification could also be used for the old cables in one revision of the standard and there it was even worse.
Something like QuickCharge is much simpler.
All this complexity is not a huge problem when used with a smartphone, tablet or other computer, but for chargers, power banks and all the simple toys it can be a problem.
was about to asking you to elaborate, but now i get your point... but i gues at some point we have to agree on a standard, also the more it gets diffused, the more it will be the common...and ...eventually it will become the normality... anyway i got your point
German is the closest Amazon store to me, but shipping is the same as the adapter. For know I have put it in my basket and it will have to wait until I need some more stuff from Amazon.
