Help me pick a new light.

A friend just gave me $65 for a new light. You can see the lights I have here. What would you guys buy for $60-$70 including shipping.

I'm looking at a Solarforce. This is the one. http://www.solarforce-sales.com/check3.php

Is this a good light? I like the fact that it has two heads and will use one or two 18650 batteries.

I'm open to other ideas also.

Is Solarforce shipped inside the US or is it HK/Chinese? How is the service and how long until I can expect the light?

Your link takes me to a sign in page, what SF model are you looking at?

Sorry. Here it is.

Thanks, that worked. I've given thought to the same package, looks nice, two lights in one. I'm leaning towards the M8 though.

I have the same setup, it is really a great thrower. Quality is very good too. Review at CPF have the MPP-1 around 50k lux. I keep wanting to get a new thrower, but can never find one that will out-throw the MPP-1 for less than $75 or so.

They ship from China, but usually there shipping times are faster than places like DD, DX, etc.

I decided that I didn't need another thrower or a single 18650 light of that size. I decided on a Shiningbeam Caveman. Not that I don't have lights that size, shape and battery configuration, it's just I wanted one that has an XM-L. I also ordered two more TF Flame 18650 batteries.

Did you order the batteries from shiningbeam as well?

I did get the batteries from Shiningbeam also. I know I can get them cheaper but he sells the TF Flame 18650 for $7.49 before the 6% discount and them will be here this week along with the light.

Yep, is it the 2400mah or the new 3000mah?

They are the 2400s. Have not heard anything about the 3000. Do you have any info on them?

The ones from manafont seem to be well received here. I have a pair already, with another pair on order.

Has anyone tested them to see if their capacity is any where close to 3000mAh? If they do, I'm interested. I may just order a couple anyway.

Anxiously waiting for HKJ's test results with this cell.

I just went ahead and ordered a couple anyway and I will give them a try. I'm hoping they don't take too long because of the Chinese new year. Not sure when that starts but I have heard that it slows everything way down.

Did you order from Mantafont? I ordered my first pair from them 12/19 and got them 1/3.

Yes I ordered them form Mantafont. My last order from him was on 12/26 and it arrived on 1/8.

This one is OK, but if I were you, I'd rather pick a brighter one.
