OK, here we go. I'm just using Matt's rules as they make sense.

Rules are simple

1/ Reply to this thread

2/ Post the following = "I want the MRV" or "I want the Romisen"

3/ 1 entry per person

4/ Everyone who says I want the MRV will also be in the draw for the Romisen. If you say, I want the Romisen I will not put you in the draw for the MRV but will for the other two prizes. Everyone is in for the third prize.


You need to post [ I want the MRV ] or you will not go in the draw , ok !

Draw will be AKA lucky dip , in other words a number will be drawn and that person wins , its that easy ..

No money , no postage fees , 100% free to everyone ...

There are three prizes, first prize the MRV SE as reviewed here and here

The Second prize thanks to fishinfool is a Shiningbeam Romisen RC-N3 II Q5

The third prize will be the item of your choice up to a value of $5 from the HK dealer of your choice


If I can get my assistant to do the draw, I'll provide video.

Not sure how I'd manage that though - maybe print out the names and put them in a bag along with something attractive to dogs and see what sticks to her chin when she gets it out.

I plan to do the draw after the 15th of November so will accept entries until midnight UTC on Monday 15th November.

I hope this will allow plenty of time for the prizes to reach the winners in time for Christmas.

First experiment in trying to get my assistant to choose the lucky winners.

I thought I could write the names on a piece of rawhide and then pull out the last surviving name on the chew.

Don't think that'll work, besides it might be time-consuming. She isn't all that keen on handing over her chews for inspection either..

I would like to get the canine assistant too, but that wouldn't be fair, because we have three of them allready.

The only problem with my assistant is the persistent delusion that she's a lapdog. 50kg of carelessly placed foot is no fun at all....

She's not at all keen on having bright lights shone at her - which is a big drawback in my house...
