Please add me to the list. Thanks!

Is it too late to add my name to the list for 1?

I really hope it will be out this year… :sunglasses:

Please add me to the list.

No measurement, but a comparison to TN42 und K70: Review und Beamshots Niwalker BK-FA09S | Taschenlampen Forum
English: Review und Beamshots Niwalker BK-FA09S | Taschenlampen Forum
… look at the pictures with reflector-size and the beamshots.

Thanks, still would love to know what the ID and depth vs width is on the Niwalker.
Because as earlier in the topic can be found, after extensive calculations on the ideal reflector it became clear the GT reflector relative sizes are only half percent off the TN42 (or hehe no no the calculations should make me write, the Tn42 is less then half a percent off  )

MARK

It keeps popping up, seems to need discussion over and over again on BLF, but depth of the reflector hardly or not affects throw, the diameter does, or more precise: the front surface area (annoyingly enough, you can’t work around physics). That said, I like a deep reflector for keeping the spill narrow and widening the hotspot, but that is a matter of taste.

So, a very shallow reflector will produce a smaller hotspot with a wide spill, while a very deep reflector will produce a bigger hotsport with a very thin spill. However, both hotspots will have the same intensity, assuming the reflectors have the same diameter.

Is that correct djozz? Very interesting.

That is correct.
In the real world things always extra factors play a role, but those factors can only change the situation on details, assuming the reflector has a decent parabolic shape, the opening area of the reflector is the one big factor determining the throw capability.

TAKE MY MONEY!!!

This is really looking like a beast with a great name behind it too!

I’ll take one please!

Cheers

Thanks.

Welcom new members, will update list later.

OOH oopS, this holdstr NOT good for the GT, the TN42 does not fit, the S70 and L6 do, but the tube of the TN42 is too fat, hence the GT will not work without modding the holdster.

Put me down for one.

Welcome to BLF!
Will do!

The alphabetical GT Interest list in post #3111 has been updated based on The Millers updates in post #1

I have not back read to learn the answer, so I'm asking.

This is the first group buy I've joined in on. I've been watching the thread for quite some time as the build evolved.

When the light gets to a stage of "almost ready for release", how does it get set in stone, the electronics, reflector, programming, You know, the light as a whole. As BLF has designed it.

I guess what I'm wanting to know is, will LuminTop be building and selling the light exactly as BLF created it to be?

Hello Mr.The Miller,
please put me on the list for one BLF Giga Thrower.

For a little imagination in what kind of direction the expected outburst of the BLF GT hopefully will lead us, and even to feet somebodies appetite  ,
here is a 700 m distance beamshot of my ET M25C2 Turbo with XHP-35 Hi LED, measured around 600-630 Klux.
!!
And the same with 11 x optical zoom
!!
A little beamshot comparison with some other Throwers you can find at the end of this thread over https://budgetlightforum.com/t/-/38771 here

Hi, I am on original list @327, please add one more for me, and Thanks!
