My Mom is the best. She always did without when we didnā€™t have much, so that we would have something. She worked when my Dad was unable. She truly did hold our family together. Happy Motherā€™s Day to all the Moms.

when i was a little boy, i would have to walk some ways to get to the school bus stop every morning. it was worst in the freezing winter, and the winter would drag on for months. i remember the feeling of the bitter cold on my skin as it scratched against my coat. the longer i waited, the colder i felt. my mom noticed this and drove me to the bus stop ever since; there we waited in her warm car. eventually when i grew up she taught me how to drive, and then i began driving her to work. she is the best.

My Mom is the best cook! I was very lucky growing up with all the awesome meals she made. And all the desserts - pies, cakes, cookies, etc. Everything she makes is from scratch. Rarely does she pull out a recipe. Some of this, some of that, next thing you know the whole house smells great.

My mom passed away on 18 April 2017. She was 86. Was such an active person till her last days. Still miss her.
