Awesome!
Nice!
I just used up the last of my 219B’s. I built a quad VG-10 with them and it is amazing. Around ~2100 lumens but a truly amazing tint. Nice and floody as well (although less floody then I expected) and perfect for a photo light. Already used it to great success for some extra lighting for some pictures. In a quad setup with a TA driver and 20AWG wires it only pulls around ~10A on a HE2 battery, I expected more but glad at the results due to the heat of almost 40W being a bit more then the VG-10 can handle. Now to wait for some more of these. I was doing some experiments last night with my EDC options. All LED’s have the dome on. A single 219C 4000k will do ~775 lumens and 143m of throw at 2.5A and ~1100 lumens with 182m of throw on turbo with 6A. A triple 219C 4000k will do ~875 lumens and ~92m of throw (84m of throw with a 15011 optic but more flood) at 2.5A. Going to 2100 lumens and 140m of throw (133m with 15011 optic) on turbo at ~16A (didn’t measure it but I think it was around here). A triple 219B 9080 does ~800 lumens and ~96m of throw at 2.5A going to ~1750 lumens and 144m of throw on turbo at ~10A. Based on these results I am not seeing any reason to not use the 219B triple as my EDC as it gives me the best of both throw and lumens. Now to decide if it is worth ripping apart 2 lights to build a EDC triple 219B now or wait for the next batch to become available and build a new light then…
I am Considering replacing the 219c 4000k in my rey ti with the 219b's.
Or building my second rey-ti with 219b's (Although that one was supposed to be a single since I already bought LD3 driver for it).
Looking forward to 4000K 219B 9080.
Btw, no need to hold the 3500K 219C for me. Not getting any traction.

Hi my fellow BLFers,
It’s been a very busy month for me, so I haven’t online in BLF for a while until today. I also got an unexpected bad news.
I bought thousands of new Nichias supposed to be ready for you guys this month. But the custom officer called me and said that all my stuff will be held there until I renew my import license. There was a new government regulation just a week before my stuff arrived!
This glitch affected many uninformed Indonesian importers. And I’ve been running around here and there to take care of it. And the to-do-list bureaucrazy got it so much more complicated than on paper. My fellow Indonesian should familiar with this kind of hassles here.
The hardest part is to get the legal company location validation as my current company location is different from what it was on the previous license. And the officer was on tour of duty outside his office without having any replacement, crazy huh? And that’s just one of many small little troubles I faced.
So, for those already put their money to me for the bulk orders, please be patient, I’m on it. The progress even though slow, is near completion within this week.
Thanks for your understanding,
- Clemence
clemence, I feel your pain. Fighting bureaucracy is only for the bravest of heart and I hope you do not loose faith.
You have done a tremendous job on the last group buy and I envy your energy and commitment.
Do not worry about us who just earn the fruits of your work. If the next group buy takes more time so be it.
Thanks for all the great work you do for us. :+1:
A pox upon the bureaucrats. Thanks for putting up with that crap (at least in part) for our benefit.
Thank you….xx
Good luck fighting the pencil pushers.
Looking forward to the next collection.
I finally had time to put together an X6 triple using three 219C R9050 sm403 emitters and the result is beautiful. Using the Ledil optic I get absolutely perfect tint. Depending on the output tint deviation i.e. Duv is anywhere from –0.0008 to 0.0019. So practically no noticeable shift either way. CCT is 3970-4022 K. CRI Ra 91-94 R9 63-76, again better on the lower modes.
Oh no… all that fine Nichia goodness sitting in a crate not getting to move. Just within reach, yet so far away. I need a bunch of the 219B 9080’s when the break loose.
Excited to see what’s in store when the nichias are finally free. I would like to play with some more nichia emitters.
The 9080 B’s have an amazing tint. Very unique with the spike in the red band.,
Looking forward to 9080 at 4000K.
Is it possible to PM me when the 219B 9080 are back in stock, or will be soon? I want to buy a batch of those. Thanks!
Ditto! (Just saw this thread…)
OK, almost there. After 2 weeks speeding to many places on a scooter (almost 300km total). The license should be out in less than five working days……IF I’m lucky to get it. There are 119 license applicants queue there. And the officer told me they’re ran out of license paper. Need to wait for another shipment from Jakarta….OMD!
And then another steps to register that license to the custom at the import department to get import permit.
Then another steps to DHL to let them use that import permit for me…
If I can’t get it on time then the government will take those Nichias to the auction. The worse case scenario would be to bid for my own stuff at the auction :weary: :person_facepalming:
When we get them then we know this is not just another Nichias. I really envy China for this…
I’ll keep you guys updated

Interested in the 9080 too.
Omg. That’s insane. All the best Clemence. We are rooting for you!
