Is there any mention of them going with an OP reflector to help get rid of the donut hole beam pattern?

People will be upset with a dark spot in the middle of the beam.

Manufacturer has agreed to make the changes (including OP reflector) a few hrs ago. I will make an announcement after we examine the new revision.

17 May 2017 - more fins will be included in the new design to cool down this beast.
