Sanyo UR14500P - £1.50 each in the UK

Anyone tried paying using PayPal? Tried two different browsers and it just wouldn’t work. It wont go past the PayPal authorisation page. Wasted a bit of time on that so finally just used the card option.

Thanks for the heads up on the batteries.

I paid using Paypal today, my browser is Firefox, is your add blocker disabled?

John.

I paid with PayPal before and it was fine. I’m annoyed the missus doesn’t want any vape stuff or I could order some more without getting moaned at

Thanks for the replies. I do have an ad blocker however it has never interfered with PayPal before. Maybe I need to add totally wicked to its whitelist.

Thanks for the heads up.

Just ordered 4 (I’ve only got 2 lights that use them and already have 3 batteries).

Paid with Paypal on my iPad and whilst Paypal worked perfectly it took me 2 attempts to register.

I paid over 8 quid for two of these from Banggood when I bought the Astrolux SC for my daughter. Now I've paid just a few quid extra for 6, bargain!

I'm looking for a 14500 powered torch for the missus a the minute so this deal came in handy just at the right time, many thanks to the OP for the HU. :)

bargain, they will soon run out of stock with us lot buying them

i feel your pain. these are what i got when i got the Astrolux sc.

Received my 6x 14500 cells in 2cell plastic cases, voltage on all 6 is 3.8v one problem all of the TW labels were peeling off, I will do a capacity test when i get a chance.

EDIT: No sign of corrosion.

John.

One of the 4 I received last week showed signs of corrosion around the +ve terminal. I sent a photo and it is being replaced.

SNAP!

I've run the first 4 through a Nor Test on my LiitoKala Lii-500 and the results are 763-788mAh, testing the last 2 atm. All 6 look perfect, and for a quid-fiddy each, bonkers!

They'll get used soon as I've just ordered a BLF X5 from BG at a bargain price of £15 too, I'm going to try to de-anodise it. I'm pretty sure it will kick my O-light S-15r's arse.

<edit> the final 2 batteries came in at 765 & 796mAh, pretty much spot on spec. </edit>

Too bad shipping to NL would ruin the deal…

…shipping to France kills the deal, unless i buy more then four…
Still, those look like old stock?

One 1 left in stock :)

John.

Out of stock now. The 10 of them that I’ve got (might be more) have been cycled a couple of times each and they’re all holding strong.

I am doing a capacity test at 0.2C at the moment on 4 of them, Can anybody see a date code on them anywhere, I would have though sanyo cells would have one somewhere.

John.

Ok, I did a capacity test in my Opus C3100 at 200ma results below.

That is an avarage of 96.25% of the rated 800 mah capacity.

1: 764 mah

2: 768 mah

3: 771 mah

4: 778 mah

John.

BACK IN STOCK, 276 LEFT, still at £1.50 each.

John.

These are back in stock (48 left at this point) at £1.50 each plus delivery.

For today only - Sunday May 21st - there is a 30% off code - DOUBLE15

I’ve just bought eight and with the £1.99 standard delivery it only cost me £10.39 - less than £1.30 per cell.

Cheers to 8steve88 for letting me know.

Paul

Well I bought four but I have to admit that of the last two I purchased one of them failed within a week. Not worth the hassle of a return at that price so I left it. I have ordered four this time and will just have to keep my fingers crossed.
