@venom: no problem at all in this case. If it were for the sole reason of deviating the thread its another story ;) I can say with great confidence that NiMH batteries from the FDK plant in Japan ARE the best in the world, no question about that :)

I saw that you listed the 1000mAh IKEA LADDAs on there. Any idea who makes these? I saw them at IKEA today and was wondering about them. I don’t think that there are any other 1000mAh NiMH that I’ve seen. I’m guessing it might be a China product?

The 2009 eneloop Tones AAA partially exists in light green and dark green colors as they are sold in Costco in US and Canada, possibly in other countries as well.

The back of the packaging of Hello Kitty special edition on your site looks like it’s for the PRC market. I have a pack where the back has Thai printed on it. So these packagings are tailored for different markets. Just an observation.

Otherwise, your site looks clean and easy to navigate.

Thanks a lot MRsDNF. That`s totally fine about Faceoff ;) I thought about that, but reading stuff about SEO stopped me from doing it. It would mean there are all of the sudden 5000+ links from BLF to my website, which can hurt the website in google search.

Hi SoCalTiger, well, if you look at the Overview page, here on BLF or on my website, you can see there are Eneloop lite batteries. They are actually 950mAh min. Capacity, so that would mean to my understanding the same. Keep in mind that most overseas brands that source their batteries from Japan use different specs...... They probably do that on purpose.

Yes, the packaging is tailored per market. If you look at the normal eneloop packages which also differ per region. In Japan for example they come in blister packs mostly. While overseas in blister on carton paper..... or however you explain that in English ;) If you look at some of the limited editions I added a link in the text to other types of packaging as well.

Yep. So far I have only come across 1 NiMH factory/plant in Japan, FDK. They also make HSD (LSD hybrid) batteries and a few more special sized NiMH batteries. Not just LSD

While we are at it.. Note that the Lite batteries that are being sold in Japan are actually made in China.. And the Lite batteries that are being sold (almost) everywhere else (including China) are actually made in Japan ;)

I don`t think that`s funny, because it took me about 2 years to realise that. I only have 1st gen Lite cells bought in Japan. Never bought 2nd gen lite in Japan so I always assumed they were made in Japan... boy, was I wrong :(

Wrong. Sometime in 2015 they probably changed to eneloop lite from China.

Anyhow, anybody bought some Red or Green eneloops in the US, Costco or Walmart?

Question for you guys:

This morning I did a few updates to my eneloop101 site and one of them being an Update to PHP7.

But my statistics shows 0 visitors from 12 noon till about 8PM tonight. I then checked the settings and did a reset and now only see a handful visits which is rather strange.

Can you guys please please check if something is broken?

There must be something else going wrong then. Maybe I'm not in Google anymore or whatever happened, but the stats are still completely off, compared to 2 days ago. I'll have to dive into it again.

“eneloop info” however is the 3rd site listed on the first page :partying_face:
